  • The possibility of a Repentant Scot moving to Landover? Query!

    As you know brethren, I have been following the path top righteousness for a year or so now, though still a 'Lost Sheep', I have amended as much as I can of my heathenish past.

    In my favour I can say:

    I am doing missionary work in Spain. I have reached a number of ex-Catholics and am in the process of converting 3 young females who are simply to pretty to be allowed to be Jehovah's Witnesses if truth be told.

    I am a missioner to the Scots here in Godless Spain in Europe.

    My wife has learned her place with gusto, especially the spanking part of her submission, to the point of insisting on regular discipline. Daily. Even dressing for the occasion usually.

    I have not one but 2 copies of the KJV1611 - 1 that goes everywhere with me, and the other in the toilet, so as to maximise the time spent here to good use.


    My main question is:

    In the event of a move to Landover - possibly within the year - what other prerequisites/paperwork/bribes/knowledge/application forms/miscellaneous bureaucratic nonsense of the forces of government etc etc would I need for the dream to come true?

    All advice/suggestions appreciated humbly and with humility.

      Thank you Reverend Brother. Enlightening Scripture - impulse tells me Freehold should be my goal. When? Who's to say but the Lord Himself.

      I'll pray on this - He may, after all, prefer me to continue my Mission in Europe among Scots, Spaniards and assorted heathendom.

      (Would my accent be a problem out of curiosity?)
      (Also, my wife as yet speaks little English, except when being disciplined or excited.)

        Yes, it is best to devote yourself to some quiet time and prayer and reflect. Jesus will bring you the answer you need.

            Well, after much prayer and deliberation the Lord has given me the Sign that I needed.

            He has commended me a better mission I believe. Here's how He told me.

            - Green Card / Immigration point blank refusal. (Something to do with a felony or 2 from my sinful youth).

            - HEated discussion and fingerprinting at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid. (I admit it was all an error of communication and I in no way hold Embassy staff responsible for the mix up. Being a Scot, I find it difficult to speak American. A truly humbling experience.)

            So, I realised that these incidents, plus my wife's subtle hints at not having La Abuela to babysit, meant that God has commended me to spread Light here in Godless Iberia. I have started contacting Baptist Pastors here and am in contact with Rev. Jim Osbourne regarding the logistics of my mission. Praise the Lord, Sing Glory and God Bless you Brother Rev. Jim!

              I have been meaning to talk with you Brother. I am always looking for land and homes to purchase. I do not have one in Spain yet. I am looking for a smaller home, say 8 to 10 thousand square feet, on the beach. Keep an eye out for me.

                How about this. The Mar Menor not far from me (handy too, I know some local officials in the 'Departamento de Urbanismo' who also think that much of this pristine coastline needs some livening up). You have the advantages of 2 seas, connected by a channel. The warmest part of Spain, 348 days sunshine per year, and it's still quite easy to move whole villages for a small fee if you can show you'd make better use of the land. Not far is the historic city of Cartagena and 2 international airports too.

                There are also a large number of young ladies seeking administrative work in the area too, including my sister-in-lw whose photo and resumé I sent you (you chose the very worthy sister Lycia of course), and , as I say, she's still available. I think the area could do with some missionary activity brother Jim.

                  That looks to be just what I am looking for. I see that the coast line is somewhat crowded. I would need atleast 2 or 3 miles, is that doable? Perhaps I should fly over and take a closer look see. Can your Sister in-law show me around?

                    The bottom of the picture, out of shot is actually a 10 mile long national nature reserve and pristinely empty. I sure a deal can be done there no problem though. The Spanish are very flexible when it comes to totally flouting all National and European Union directives protecting the environment. I like their macho attitude to this actually. Further down the coast towards Almeria , out of shot to the left too, is more virgin coast just waiting for some decent resident to come along and snap it up. I just phoned my pretty 'late 30s-looks-late-20s' sister-in-law who says no problem, she'll show you around. You got the family photos of the pool party I sent you? (sorry there was no other photo with her in it). I think you'll see she's more than suitable as a ..tourist guide/real estate agent.

                    I think you should know she's recently widowed so don't be alarmed if she seems a little in need of comfort.

                    Any more detailed info, just pm me brother, although you have my cell phone number anyway.

                      I was going to ask Rev Jim and the other guys to come along for the trip. I thing that a solo flight would be better. Lycia and Rev Jim are getting along quite well, last night he must have been up until 2 or 3 am with her. From what I heard he must have been on a roll witnessing to her, she just kept screaming, Oh God and Sweet Jesus.

                      Anyway don't worry about the young widow, if she feels a bit low she can cry on my lap shoulder. I my fly out on Thursday.

                          Brother I have to ask, do you still wear the kilt? If you feel strongly about dressing in one, you should mentioning this to one of the Pastors. I am not sure their ruling concerning it being a manly piece of clothing or just a propensity for cross dressing.

                            I cleared my calendar for the next week or so. I will leave Key west about 6 am my time. Will be there Thursday late evening. My motel needs are simple, penthouse. Also will need a car, I like em fast. Is there a place to rent a Ferrari or Lamborghini?

                              Thanks for the details, it's all being organiZed. Look forward to seeing you Thursday, it like to show you a site for a possible Biblical Centre, with Rev. Jim's permission of course. There's a strip joint there at the moment but apparently it has a closure order for March. Unfortunately it'll still be operational when you get there. We could inspect the premises if you have time.

                              Edit: Lamborghini / Ferrari is possible. They can drive one down from Alicante Wed. night.
