Is free will better then a morally neutral constant?Originally posted by The Magic of God View PostI'm the person of endowment. I have the right to ask why.

Free will gives us good, is it not better to have good along with evil then for everything to be the same. And when i say everything would be the same, i really mean it, for if there is difference then there is potentially different levels of some kind of morality and therefore there is good and bad.
See what I am saying here? Everything the same, or good and evil (with free will).
Anyway, at the end, it is God's choice and if you think you can find out the answer, go for it. I'd start with the Bible if you are interested in Christianity.READ THE BIBLE

Hmm, I see some irony here, people go to religion so they don't haave to think but in doing so they are flipping off God who gave them free will so that they could think.Originally posted by BibleThumpinBlonde View PostOh wonderful, another self-entitled hippie.

Re: So God gave us free will.
God indeed gave us free will. We dont need to ask why, although we should ask if we have free will then why are there goths and homosexuals?
Maybe God itself is a lie to moderate humans? Maybe there is one, the only "proof" of God is the fiction novel called the Bible.

Re: So God gave us free will.
Does it say anything in the bible (i noticed you guys are very good at quoting scripture) about why he may have wanted us to have the ability to chose?
Also i was wondering does it say anywhere in the bible about god having a master plan? Because i hear the term used allot by people that god "has a plan for everyone" if thats so would that mean we don't really have free choice?

We don't really have a free will. God knows what we will chose when He created us due to His prefect knowledge. Free will is an illusion created by our limited human perspective.

No, it's the fault of the damned that they don't take responsibility for the way they are created, repent of it and turn their lives over to God.Originally posted by Enigmatic Harpo Marx View PostDoes this mean that people going to Hell were damned from the begining by God himself. If God can create the universe He certainly can do it in a way it's our fault.

I guess a better question then is if God knows who is going to Hell and who is going to Heaven, then why didn't he just distribute us accordingly?Originally posted by Bobby-Joe View PostNo, it's the fault of the damned that they don't take responsibility for the way they are created, repent of it and turn their lives over to God.
