They might have funerals, but I don't see the reason to have a funeral for an atheist. Funerals are expensive, with the casket and everything. I think most atheists just deserve a Viking funeral. Just throw 'em on top of a pile of wood and light a match I say.

well, funerals are a very nice way to commemorate the dead, but is it really necessary? When someone dies, the soul leaves the body,to hopefully, go to the Lord. If not, you know the drill. The body that is left behind is like a cicada skin. Wouldn't make more sense to have a Christian funeral pier? I know I might sound odd. That is just my two cents worth on the subject.
