I have to agree with Sister SUV and Bobby-J, that your good friend John's dreams are perfectly normal and nothing to be concerned about -- UNLESS they include a vision of Mr. Reagan bucking in the saddle and shouting out "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!" at his moment of climax. That would be disturbing.

I agree that there is probably some symbolism going on here. What would really be disturbing is if there were any animals involved (like in Bedtime for Bonzo). It is sometimes hard to separate Ronald Reagan the "actor" from his role as president, particularly in dreams.

Slipknot, I commend your ardent defense of the great and Godly President Ronald Wilson Reagan, but I think you're thoughts in this matter are misplaced.

The Bible teaches us that dreams are not about what they appear to be about, but rather are symbolic messages from the Lord that can only be interpreted with the aid of a clever Jew. So we know that this was not a sexual dream at all.

Consider Pharaoh's dream in Genesis 41, in which seven well favored kine and fatfleshed emerged from a river, then seven other kine, these ill favoured and leanfleshed, which ate the flesh of the well favoured and fat kine. Jacob correctly interpreted this as a sign from God that Egypt would have seven years of plenty, followed by seven years of famine. BTW, this story also proves that God exists, for, if He were only imaginary, how would Joseph have been able to interpret Pharaoh's dream correctly?
