The only reason I can think of is it's the femnazi way of acting more like a man, burn the bra and wear a strap? Unless they have modified two jockstraps into a bra.
Unfortunately, even though I was a tomboy as a young woman, I never took to feminism. Although I'd rather be outside with my male cousins rather than learning to knit with my grandmother, I never wanted to be one of my male cousins, so I don't really understand the femnazi brain.
Now I'm sorry I didn't pay as much attention to my grandmother. Many skills were lost, I picked up some from my aunt, but I never learned how to crochet doilies.
