While I am praying for Jared, I fear the Baby Jesus might recoil from people that are involved in the acts of which he is accusated. Perhaps there are those among us near the ungodly state of Indiana that can visit this man and minister unto him? All souls are worth saving - well, with the exception of the Kardashian whores and Hillary Clinton.

Dear Lord, as we pray for Jared today we ask that you cleanse the Subway chain of demonic powers. Purge every bun, cleanse every piece of meat, and evangelize each veggie, Lord God. Make this a chain of wholesome goodness so that fat people can find their way back to normalcy. We ask this in Your sweet, sweet name, Jesus. And Lord, let Your Holy Ghost minister to Jared, even if he is a Jew, and infuse his mind with a desire to repent of his sins so that one day he may walk the streets of gold shouting your praises.

To be sure, Jared Fogle's actions are depraved and sickening, and he deserves to be punished. However, there are a few points I think need to be made here.

1. At least he is of normal—that is, heterosexual—orientation. Nowhere have I seen any mention of Fogle molesting boys or procuring gay child porn. That is one less sin to have to worry about, and makes the whole thing just a hair easier to stomach.

2. While he may be a pedophile, he is not a child molester. As far as we know, his only crimes are possessing child pornography and attempting to obtain sex with underage girls. If trying and failing to get laid before going home to jerk off to porn was the same as actually having sex, every high school sophomore would be Burt Reynolds.

3. Technically, he isn't even a pedophile. The article says the girls were "as young as 14 or 15," which means the rest of them were older. An adult sexually attracted to adolescents is classified as an ephebophile; some would say 14 crosses into into hebephilia, the attraction to preadolescents. Also, there are 14-year-olds, and then there are 14-year-olds. Many are mature or nubile enough to pass as adults, so it's possible he mistook them for being older than they really were. Don't forget that a Peruvian girl just gave birth at 11.

4. The Bible doesn't actually mention pedophilia anywhere. I've read the whole thing, and for whatever reason it just never comes up.

5. In some ways, Jared is a victim of society. Our backwards, bankrupt culture encourages homosexuals to flaunt their perversion while shaming and frightening pedophiles into the closet—thus preventing both groups from getting the help they need. By enrolling in Landover's Ex-Pedophile™ program—which has helped hundreds of erstwhile perverts start new lives as teachers, scout leaders, youth ministers, camp counselors, theme park mascots, pediatricians, puppeteers, choir directors, birthday party photographers, clowns, and tee-ball coaches—he could have washed away his sickness with the sweet blood of Christ.

6. Pedophilic imagery is everywhere, from the Internet, TV, and movies to buses and billboards to backpacks and Trapper Keepers. Jew-run companies like Jisney make a fortune pandering to—and creating—kid diddlers. It's hard to truly blame Jared for sticking his sausage in undercooked buns when he was under daily bombardment by twerking teen tushes. Really, what's the difference between this (Miley was 15) and the stuff he spilled his mayo over—a quarter-turn and a piece of silk?

7. We shouldn't act as though he is 100% confirmed guilty. Yes, he did enter a guilty plea, but it has not been finalized by the court yet. In any event, pleading guilty doesn't necessarily mean he did it, just that the evidence against him is too overwhelming to be worth fighting. That's a fine distinction, but an important one.

8. Gary bought the computer refurbished, which means used. The pictures could have been on there already.
