When children cry I cry too. The boat 23 ft. long it is 35 year old in need of more repairs than it is worth and i will donate it to charity as it has need too much work to sell it for anything but junk. i cannot afford storage.
anyway call me what you will as I said I would leave but I saw your kind loving post and wanted to clear up the boat issue. Its junk.

the family had a 10,000 policy and it took 8 for the funeral. The 2,000.00 left did not go far after the doctor bill made trying to save her life.. The mom never worked outside the home.

Eddie, I believe it was mentioned earlier that in most cases of foreclosure, the mortgage holder cannot come after any other assets you have.

Perhaps your best bet at this time is to contact your mortgage holder and explain the situation. They may let you "short-sell" the house (sell it for less than the amount of the mortgage) without destroying your credit. This is a better option for them than ending up with yet another house on their hands that they can't sell.

If you want to stay there, then I suggest you look here: http://www.hud.gov/local/nc/homeowne...oreclosure.cfm

This is HUD's North Carolina-specific information page. The topics are:

            (888) 995-HOPE - foreclosure prevention counseling
HUD approved housing counseling agencies - counseling on buying, renting, defaults, foreclosures, credit issues and reverse mortgages
            Veterans Affairs Regional Loan Center
            Financial Assistance Programs
            Legal assistance

Why is it there haven't been any entries in your blog since 2007, Eddie? Annexations don't usually take two years, do they?

Again, to all thanks for the support. I have never known so much sadness not for me but for those that many more than I have the finances to help. We are now providing help for family members who until recently had not told us of their loss of income, their homes and assets they worked a life time to earn.

I now live in one of the poorest areas of NC that just a few years ago was the furniture capital of the world. It feels much like a Charles Dickens novel or a bad dream, to watch a town I once loved and was so proud to claim turn into a cancerous slum due to the poor economy and extremely poor manage. Is there any old empty building the city will not buy and allow us to watch it rot away while asking the public to cover these cost. .

I truly feel Lexington would be better served by the real Mafia with real mob and gang experience than a this crowd who are learning on the job to be domestic terrorist. the site
http://www.terrorism-research.com/ gives this definition of terrorism,

The United States Department of Defense defines terrorism as “the calculated use of unlawful violence or threat of unlawful violence to inculcate fear; intended to coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological.” Within this definition, there are three key elements—violence, fear, and intimidation—and each element produces terror in its victims. The FBI uses this: "Terrorism is the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives." The U.S. Department of State defines "terrorism" to be "premeditated politically-motivated violence perpetrated against non-combatant targets by sub-national groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.

So now to the city of Lexington now you know what a truely fell and I did not even use my own words.

Again I am sorry for my angry remarks i wish I could remove them.

Re: Pray forced annexation victims in Lexington, N.C.

I just took the above post and turned it into a letter to my local paper.

                  letters@the-dispatch.com see below

                  Dear Editor,

We have listed for sale our home of 17 years, in hopes to escape this Lexington Regime of Hate and rape. I have never known so much sadness, not just for me alone but for so many more than I have the finances to assist. We are now providing help for friends family members who until recently had not told us of their loss of income, their homes and assets they worked a life time to earn.

I think I must now live in one of the poorest areas in NC. that just a few years ago was the proud furniture capital of the world. It feels much like a Charles Dickens novel or a very very bad dream, to watch a town I once loved and was so proud to claim turn into a cancerous slum due to the poor economy and extremely poor city management. Is there any old empty slummy building the city will not buy and allow us to watch rot away while asking the public to cover these cost of their plunder??.

I truly feel Lexington would be better served to hire the real Mafia with real mob and gang experience than a this crowd who are learning on the job to be what seems like domestic terrorist. The site
http://www.terrorism-research.com/ gives this definition of terrorism,

The United States Department of Defense defines terrorism as “the calculated use of unlawful violence or threat of unlawful violence to inculcate fear; intended to coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological.” Within this definition, there are three key elements—violence, fear, and intimidation—and each element produces terror in its victims. The U.S. Department of State defines "terrorism" to be "premeditated politically-motivated violence perpetrated against non-combatant targets by sub-national groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.

So to the city of Lexington now you know how I truly feel, and I did not even use my own words. I would give my right arm to escape the plunder of the this city regime and I am willing to give away or sell all my worldly goods to that end. You no longer need to travel to a third world to volunteer as you may now live in the third world called Lexington, N.C... I call it the city the intimidates and thrives on the manufacture of hate. So many people hate this miserable place and I may be number one.

We need signs at each entrance to Lexington that say those who enter here should abandon all hope, or keep it simple and just call it what Dante Alighieri would call it "The Divine Comedy" .. I still love the people here and the county but Lexington has become something I just need to scrape off the bottom of my shoe and hope the smell goes away.

Way to go, Eddie! But I didn't notice any mention of God in that letter. I sure hope you're not losing faith, pal!

Trusting in Jesus has always gotten me through hard times. Like the time I had to fire one of my mexican gardeners for planting lilacs near my breakfast porch. I'm allergic to those things! He should have known that!
