  • Pray Once Again for my Father to Die

I learned that my dad had a relapse after God healed him completely thanks to YOU. <sigh>

This time get it right: Pray for his peaceful entry into the afterlife. Since he has not repented of his papist ways, I would ask that you first pray that he finds Jesus in the way he should and THEN die within moments after that.

Oh - and pray there is nothing wrong with the will.

On 2nd thought, pray that the Lord allows him to live long enough for me to have a lawyer check everything over, then that he finds Jesus, then passes on to glory. Please be careful of your prayer order so that God is best glorified. Let me clarify this:

    1. Dad lives long enough for me to make sure the will is in order
    2. Dad finds the forgiveness of Jesus Christ
    3. Dad enters his home in Glory

    Everyone got that? Thanks!
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

Re: Pray Once Again for my Father to Die

    Hey Larry,

Sorry to hear the Old Man is at Death's Door, again. I will say a couple of words for him and pray that God forgives all his trespasses and takes him into His Arms. Or if in the case that our prayers save him, again, I will pray for a full recovery and that he sees it right to write you back into his will. Last I saw things looked pretty bleak.

    Your mate
    Tom

    P.S. Here's the prayer:

O God of resurrection, who raised Jesus Christ from the dead, I pray to you on behalf of Brother Larry's Father who is dying this day. May he know the comfort of your presence, the power of your love to give life even in the face of death, and the hope of your salvation. May he be blessed with the presence of family and friends to banish their lonliness and fears, the love of those who care for him to ease their pain, and the hope of always being remembered by those who he was supposed to have loved and left something in his will for. All I humbly ask through the one who died for us that I might live, Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen

    Isaiah 66:15

For behold, the Lord wil come with fire, and with his charets like a whirlewinde, to render his anger with furie, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Wow, Tom - what a beautiful prayer. It could have been more direct; something like, Dear God, In Jesus Name, may Larry's dad be saved, may the will be in order to Larry gets all he wants, and then may Larry's dad die and go to heaven. But it'll do.

The last report I heard is not good. Since you are the only one who responded here I don't know if anyone else is praying. He is on advanced life support right now; I sure hope the electricity doesn't go off. Of course they have those damned generators if it does.

One of the best attorneys in NYC tells me there are no hitches with the will; I am in line to receive scads of money and of course the car dealerships, the auto repair shop, and the Dunkin Donuts franchise. Of course I had to pay the lawyer $3000 for that bit of info.

Again, thanks for praying! Just modify it, if you will, to my recommendation above. We're men here, no reason to be all flowery and gay about it.

      Bear hugs,
      Larry

        Praying

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

If your father is still alive it is because its Gods will. Why do you wish ill upon your father? Isn't that unchristian? I wasn't aware that people could pray for others to die. This seems akin to a Wiccan putting a curse on someone. You sound like a monster after his money. What is wrong with people on this forum? Then i read a post with people agreeing that its ok for your daughter to get raped? Women are not dispensable tools to be used and thrown away.

How do you know the LORD is not leading Brother Larry like He did Abraham, whom He took under His Divine Wing and bartered for the lives of the righteous (Genesis 18:24)? Brother Larry is a True Christian™ man and a close, personal friend with Jesus. To suggest Jesus wouldn't listen to Larry's righteous pleas is to suggest Jesus is a heartless bastard when it comes to the suffering of His own. Are you calling Jesus a heartless bastard? Do you dare accuse Him of ignoring the needs of His children?

I never called Jesus a bastard, I'm calling Larry a monster for wanting his father dead. What child wishes ill upon their parent? How do you know that brother Larry is a true Christian and close to Jesus? I believe that is between God and him. Its just its rather odd for someone to wish death upon someone-- his intentions seem like they are first and foremost to benefit himself and having his fathers soul saved, it just seems like an after thought. He wants his dad to live long enough for a lawyer to check things over and then die. Wow, prince charming lol. What needs? It just sounds like he just wants his old man's money.

You may not have used that exact word but your intent was clear. I'll bet you'll say those starving children in Africa, or the ones in Syria whose eyes and throat have been burned out by chemical warfare were neglected by Jesus, too. How dare you accuse the Lord thy God of Psychopathic Apathy! Or do you dare accuse Him of Gross Incompetence? Who are you to make such claims?

Now you're just putting words into my mouth, I do not think that way at all. No that was not my intent, I only have to prove myself to the lord, so I don't have to answer to you
I believe that those victims have a special place in heaven, children inherit the kingdom of God after all. Lady quit attacking people, people that attack others and put words and make assumptions don't attract people to the faith, thats why us Christians get a bad Rep.... I just got the message you sent, I got it, its not a debate forum. How about we start over? How did you find God? I was raised in a Christian household. My mother seemed God when she was a teen and has been a Christian ever since and she also instilled that innate love for God. I still have a lot to learn, for I just recently started going to church again after a long period of not attending.

Not at all, dear. I'm simply following your line of argumentation. I'm following your logic. You may not recognize this is how you feel, but Jesus sees deep into your heart, even deeper than you can see (Jeremiah 17:9).

That's what Pastor Ted Haggard said about homosexuality, and then he was caught with his pants down with a young man in a hotel, gallons of coke on his naked chest, and Doritos on his nipples. The one who denies loudly is the closet sinner, dear.

You maintain this belief based on what, dear? Certainly not the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible tells us without faith in Christ, a soul is damned for all eternity (John 3:18). Do you call Jesus a liar now, too? Is He, in your opinion, lying to you or lying to every one ever in the Holy Bible? Because it certainly couldn't be *you* who are mistaken now, could it? Hmmm? Could it???

I'm attacking you by reminding you of what the Holy Bible says?

What a lovely idea! Why don't you introduce yourself on our friendly Introductions Forum. That way we can all get to know each other!

Possibly because there is no such word as seeked, dear. The past tense of seek is sought. I hope that helps?

As for starting over, that would be a good idea. Why not begin by ceasing to derail Brother Larry's thread. After that you can head on over to the Introduction Forum where you can start your own thread to introduce yourself properly (and politely).

I changed my mind, I don't want to be apart of this website. Why are you bringing irrelevant nonsense such as a pastor who committed homosexuality? How dare you tell me what I meant to say, you don't know my heart, only God knows my heart. And whoever labeled me as "unsaved trash" is really rude. I wonder what God thinks about that, I thought we were not suppose to judge others. How do I delete my account so I can stop being around such mean people?
