After one of my church's board members shared the following with me, I agreed that this Sunday we should host a prayer event to support Sarah Palin. I hope Landover's pastors will join in!

Do we pray at a specific time for the Miscarraige or do individual prayers at different times add up the same way. If we all Prayed very, very hard at the same time for the Slut Bristol to miscarry, wouldn't that be better than just randomly praying at some point this Sunday?

And I'll pray for the Blameless Sarah Palin in a general way as well of course. But this Miscarriage Prayer is I think a great thing for good Christians everywhere to take part in.

Do we pray at a specific time for the Miscarraige or do individual prayers at different times add up the same way.

I don't think it makes much difference. God already knows who's going to pray for the miscarriage, so why would He care when each of us do the praying?

But hey, if you have some Scripture that says something different, I'm open to holding a prayer meeting.

I'm not sure if this is definitive on the topic, but it sounds like Simultaneous Prayer might work better.

This thread is entirely sick, but finally something good has emerged from it. Acts 4 is one of my favorite books of the Bible. It expresses Jesus's desire that rich people support the poor:

That's the one I think she might have:

Palin: "I told the Congress "thanks, but no thanks," for that Bridge to Nowhere. If our state wanted a bridge, we'd build it ourselves."

Just to reiterate what others have said: Congress' requirement that funds be spent on that bridge (aka the 'earmark') were removed before Sarah Palin became governor. She was therefore in no position to tell Congress anything about the bridge, one way or the other. During her campaign, she said she supported funding for the bridge. Brad Plumer, citing the Anchorage Dialy News via Nexis:

"5. Would you continue state funding for the proposed Knik Arm and Gravina Island bridges?

Yes. I would like to see Alaska's infrastructure projects built sooner rather than later. The window is now--while our congressional delegation is in a strong position to assist."

Later, she accepted the money -- now not restricted by an earmark -- and used it for other infrastructure projects. Here's her statement about why she wasn't building the bridge (also via Plumer.) Decide for yourselves what role a principled opposition to earmark funding plays in it. Hint: here's what residents of Ketchikan AK said when they heard her recent remarks:

"In the city Ketchikan, the planned site of the so-called "Bridge to Nowhere," political leaders of both parties said the claim was false and a betrayal of their community, because she had supported the bridge and the earmark for it secured by Alaska's Congressional delegation during her run for governor. (..)

"People are learning that she pandered to us by saying, I'm for this' ... and then when she found it was politically advantageous for her nationally, abruptly she starts using the very term that she said was insulting," Weinstein said."

I think that many of you are being too negative. In fact, Governor Palin has a fine family that genuinely represents America's trailer park values. Bristol sounds like a true Christian woman - barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen. Hopefully, her family will soon be able to arrange a marriage to a man who will beat some sense into her. You can rest assured that Bristol will vote Republican, just as soon as she's old enough.

Bristol's child, Trig, would make a great future Republican governor of Alaska - an IQ of 40 is not a disqualification for holding political office. As for Bristol's as-yet-unborn bastard child, when he turns 17 he should have a great job waiting for him as a soldier. In fact, I'm expecting that President McCain will lower the age of military to conscription to 12 - we need as many boots on the ground in Iraq as we can get.

Given Bristol's young age, she should easily be able to produce 7 or 8 more soldiers for God's army before she's all used up. In fact, given the very high incidence of rape in Alaska, she might be able to spit out 10 or 12.

It is already clear that Satan has poisoned the minds of Democrats against Sarah.
