    Prayer request for a promotion.

    Dear Brothers in Christ,

    I am asking for your prayers as a position has opened up in Iowa for a rep for my company. Now with my position, I can live anywhere in the state, as long as there is a major airport within driving distance, so I am looking at moving to Freehold as I am sick and tired of the filth I am dealing with on a daily basis.

    My housing budget is aprox $500K so I'm not sure what that would buy there.

    Also, although I am acting as if I already have the job (I feel like it's a sign from God himself) I have only had my second interview. I will be flying down to Corporate Headquarters in Michigan this week for the final interview and they said the decision will be released the next day.

    Please pray for me to get out of this Godless country and if anyone else can help, it would be appreciated. I will PM information as I don't want my work information on the boards with all the unsaved trash running about.

        $500K will not get you much in Freehold. Maybe a 2 bedroom ranch on a quarter acre.

        I am in the process of having to liquidate some property. I have a bungalow over in the Solomon Bluffs section. It was appraised for $1.2 million, I owe about $600K. Maybe we can work something out?

              Well I'm going on what I can get through a Canadian bank. I'm not exactly sure how the American banks will treat me. I guess if I can't find anything in Freehold, I could move to Des Moines. I was really hoping to find something in Freehold though.

              Brother Ernest, can you PM me the information on your bungalow? I would prefer a 3 bedroom, or a 2 bedroom with a basement. The boys can share a room, but I need my office space. And I really don't want to end up in a trailer.

                Be careful getting a place with a basement. One of your kids will end up living there until their fourty.

                  Okay, maybe I misunderstood how exclusive Freehold was. I would be happy with something like this (although the house is a little small)

                  Now of course I don't know if that's in a bad neighborhood, but around here it would be at least $100K more than it is listed here.

                  As for the basement, it will be mine. I need it for my equipment, tools, and personal time.

                        Just an update.

                        Seth flew down today for the interview, he called me tonight and the interview is tomorrow at 1:00. There are 2 other people left in the running. The down side is that both of them are Americans, although one is a junior rep and the other is from a different division. The decision will be made on Thursday, and then he will be flying back on Friday.

                          Tell Seth he's got the job. After checking with our joo accountants and verifying the generous Love Offering from the Campbell family, I made a few calls.

                              Well I've been trying to get on intermittently all day, but I see we're under a viking invasion. Haven't changed much in 1100 years, have they.

                              Pastor, I don't know what you said, but PRAISE JESUS! Not only did I get the position, but a big honking raise to go with it! We will be moving at the end of July as I am expected to start the first week of August.

                              Now it's going to be busy, busy, busy. Sell this house, buy a new one down there. I've already contacted Sister Jennings. I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford to move into Freehold, but I'll get as close as I can.
