Pastor Isaac Peters, Pulled my post a second ago after I told everyone about a site that does websites for churches for free. Yeah, FOR FREE. ( I didn't put a link in the post, as I knew that would be against the rules.) I did however post the name of the site so other baptist churches could get a site for free.
What better way could a baptist church especially in rural america spread the word of God? Using a website is a great way to spread the word. Especially one that is free, right?
Well, That was my thinking, however, Pastor Isaac Peters pulled the post leading me to think that he doesn't want Christians to spread the word of God....
He said that by me telling people about something that would help others was "Spam." even though it was free.
(Spam is soliciting to sell something. This wasn't the case in my post or I wouldn't be here explaining my position.)
Also, If a person is spamming to get links to a website. They use clickable links. Again, this wasn't the case. This was just the name of a site which I posted in a general figure of speech. Hoping it could help others...
I was trying to be helpful to everyone who believes that spreading the word of God is the right thing.
I will pray that Mr. Peters get's his life back on track and re-reads the scripture which tells Christians to spread the word of God. I pray that Mr. Peters understands that when someone tries to help others - It is the Christian thing to do. Which also happens to be the right thing also.
Had Mr. Peters' knew the scripture as any reputable pasture, he would know that spreading the word of god is what we are told to do. Giving people the proper tools to do it in this day and age is not something to be banned for doing. It is something that should get praise.
If he bans me over this post. I will respond on Facebook, PeoplesCourtRaw and other sites where Mr. Peter and I can have a public discussion about this.
