  • Just had some very bad news

    My sister was pregnant with her second child, a little girl, but the child did not live past fourteen days after birth. I am a bit besides myself and won't have so much energy to devote among you kindly and godly people. If you will, say a prayer this little angel went straight to heaven, sadly Christianity has dwindled over here so I do not think she was baptized but I would appreciate it if you didn't make any inconsiderate remarks about it all the same, I honestly couldn't deal with it right now.

    I wonder what she did to piss God off so much.
    Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

          While I feel your loss in losing a niece I am sorry but this little girl would not have made it to heaven. And no amount of prayer will change that.

          Sometimes people need a wake up call like this for them to turn to God. I hope that your sister makes the most of her grief to reflect and repent. Was she lawfully before God married to the father of this child? Did she have any adulterous thoughts throughout her pregnancy? I have heard many ungodly women say that pregnancy is a sexual experience for the whole nine months. Maybe your sister had these thoughts and this is why God punished her by killing her offspring.

          However. Do not think of this totally as a bad experience. If she and her husband (assuming they are married) can only afford two children, God may have killed her girl child in order to bless her with a boy next time round.

          have you thought about that? This may in fact be a blessing.

            That you would think such a way about a little girl, a little sweet and truly innocent baby girl, makes me think you are a cursed person. But I've actually done some reflection and thought maybe she chose, the little girl, not to be in this world because of all the sin, so maybe her dying was like Jesus dying, to remind us/me to turn away from sin. That's what I've been thinking. Truth be told I'm very sad and angry this has happened I can't put it into words I'm deeply affected by it, and I do not appreciate anybody trying to trivialize that or this little girl's passing. I can see you are trying to help but some of the things you say you must doubt really help. If you are intent on helping with every word you posted, I can only thank you from the very depths of my heart

            Sincerely,

              Sometimes it is hard to convey meaning across written word. But I did not mean to trivialize the passing of your niece. Every thing is for a reason. I just wondered aloud why your sister's child was killed by God. That is all.

              Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (King James Version)
              1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
              2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
              3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
              4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
              5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
              6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
              7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
              8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

                  Yes, you need to rebuke your Sister friend since it was her sins that forced God to kill her little baby.

                    I had a still birth once my first child, a girl but Frank buried her in the back garden next to the loving Rott that had died the year earlier. The two boys grew up fine though.

                      Well, it's obvious from your avatar picture that there are some strong, healthy, quality genes in your family, so it must have been something in particular that angered God that caused your neice's death.

                        So, you're thinking she committed suicide and sent herself on the express train to Hell?

                        Interesting idea, but tell me . . . are you capable of willing yourself to death in only a few days? Yet you have a fully developed adult mind!

                        Truth be told I'm very sad and angry this has happened
                        Why are you sad and angry? God decided that she should die.

                        Let's review:
                        God knows everything.

                        God is all-powerful.

                        Therefore, God knew your niece would die, was able to stop it, and He decided to let her die.
                        So, it is God's Plan that she die, just as it is God's Plan that thousands of children starve to death in Africa today, just as it was God's Plan that six or seven thousand Jews were put to death by the Nazis, and it is God's Plan that Muslim women be "honor raped" when their husbands are the ones causing trouble for the family. He knows these things are happening and chooses not to stop them.

                        Who are you to question God's Will? Maybe He knew that this girl would become a serial rapist in her preteen years, corrupting fine Christian relatives with her seductive ways. Maybe He knew she was wicked from birth, Hellbound, and mercifully decided not to inflict that upon your sister and her husband.

                        You mention that she wasn't baptized. I assume that means you are Catholic.

                        Infant baptism is meaningless. Baptism is a vow, a conscious choice to follow Jesus, one which infants cannot make.
                        Bible boring? Nonsense!

                        You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

                          Innocent? Hardly! She bears the guilt of Eve, and she's burning in Hell for it now, just as she deserves.

                          I do not appreciate anybody trying to trivialize that or this little girl's passing.
                          Please, don't misunderstand us. This isn't trivial at all. Someone being damned to Hell, especially a baby, to be tortured for all eternity, isn't a trivial matter.

                            All children are born full of sin. They are destined for Hell unless they repent, which they cannot do until they have matured enroute to understand what they are doing and convince God of their sincerity. Being the baby died so young was a punishment for your sister or her husband. I strongly suggest an intervention with your in-laws to find out what horrible things they have done. Do not let them leave the room until they confess. It is in their and your best interest.

                            For them to of sinned so severely as to force Gods hand and snatch the baby before it had a chance in life is terrible. I spit on heartless people like that!

                              Infant baptism is a papist practice and complete blasphemy. Whether or not some ring-kissing "father" had sprinkled some water on the child's head, it would be in the same place that it's in now: Being tortured for all eternity in hell.

                              I strongly suggest that you repent and turn your life over to Jesus.
