  • A Prayer For Everyone Here

Dear God, please forgive all the members of this forum. They do truly believe in you, but they got lost along the way.

Forgive them for passing judgment on anyone who's views are even slightly askew from their one.

Forgive them for their pride; running rampant, fogging their vision to the true spirit of Christianity.

Forgive them for tainting your word, and forgive them for being the main example people who dislike Christians base their bias upon.

People of Landover Baptist Church; pray for yourselves. While I am an Atheist, you all do believe; and I will try to guide you back into His good graces. While I may not believe in God, I have a ridiculous amount of respect for Him, and you are all disgraces to good Christians.

Christianity is not about telling others why their going to Hell; it's about loving all people unconditionally (as well as God). Even if you hate the people, or their sin; do not chastise them. That is not your responsibility, it is God's. He'll sort everyone out in the afterlife. Like me, I'll be going to Hell. (If you'd like I can provide a complete list of reasons, but that isn't really the purpose for this post.)

    According to Christians:
God is all knowing, all seeing, all doing. God is all. All he requests in return for existence is your love. All he wants to put you into a place of eternal bliss is your love.

So just, love God. Hating Jews doesn't show your love to Him, or His son.
Stop this madness. You were not there when He created the world. You are still not there, by his side, as he manages it. God does everything for a reason; and all you have to do is accept that.

Make the right choice; go to Heaven. Stop the hate.

Captain Mittens: "God does everything for a reason; and all you have to do is accept that."

I agree! We all agree! God killed 800,000 Rwandans in a month of unspeakable violence for a reason. He killed 273,000 with just a little ocean wave, praise Him!

And all this death and suffering -- in fact, all the death and suffering since the world began -- has been God's loving gift to mankind, because, as you say, it is all for the good.

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Neither give place to the devil. Ephesians 4:26, 27

Just accept God's goodness, and don't -- whatever you do! -- question His goodness. Don't think about it. That, as theologians tell us, is the Supreme Blasphemy.

If you have read the bible you would know God does not love unconditional. There are specific conditions that are required to obtain his love.

I think captain Mittens has been spending far too long with both hands on his Dinga-ling. Come on Son, you should have at least one hand on your Bible apologizing to God if you're going to do that kind of thing.

Thank you for that little Gem of wisdom Miss gnannka,

Yet again another atheist that deep down inside he knows God is real.

Now Capitan Mittens, why do you hate Jesus so much you attack Him denying His existence? Remember He died a temporary death for your sins.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

Re: A Prayer For Everyone Here

First, I'd like to start with an apology. This came off sounding like an attack on you guys, which it was certainly not intended to. I wrote it late at night as soon as I saw this website. And I was still outraged at what I had read.

So, in conclusion to that, I'm sorry for how the first thing sounded.

Next, thanks for editing my poll. You pretty much just proved everything I had said.

I am not a kid because I don't believe in God, and I deserve the same respect as you. And, from what I've seen, this website is just a hive of racism and misunderstanding. Not beliving in God does not mean you're allied with Satan and go to orgies with Witches. It means, quite simply, you have a different view on the world than others. While I do not believe in God, I feel if I am praying for Christians, and He does exist, He will heed me anyways. And if He doesn't, no harm done anyways.

I have not read the Bible, but I should at some point. Even for non-Christians, it is an interesting piece of literature. Who knows, it may even open my mind. However, are we not supposed to "Love thy neighbor"? The word neighbor extending to all of humanity, and any life that may lurk in other Galaxies?

I can't makes heads or tails of this one. I know what you're saying, but I fail to see the relevance. The amount of hands on my "Dinga-ling" has nothing to do with my religious beliefs. And it has nothing to do with this post.

I wasn't attacking Jesus. I wasn't even trying to attack Landover Baptist Church. Although, it did sound that way, and once again I apologize. I do not "know" that God and Jesus existed. Well, that's not true either. Jesus definitely did exist at some point; scientific proof was found. But that doesn't mean that He was a God. At least, not to me. However, I am willing to keep an open mind and not completely deny that He exists. I just stick with a default of No until I get better proof than "EVERYTHING". For the proof "EVERYTHING" is rather weak if you didn't believe in God in the first place. So, what is my position? I believe God could exist, and try to remain respectful of that. However, I am certainly far from believing that he does exist, and as such, will not have my life ruled by Him. I like God; I just don;t know that He's there.

Uhm... no thanks. I appreciate the sentiment, but I think I could attain my own Bible and read it in far less than a year. And seek out local Churches and ask them about anything I didn't understand.

I'd rather not lurk around here too much; there's just so much hate. Even if the Bible says it's okay (I don't know if it says that, but there is a lot of it here), just bein' a nice dude says Nowai!

You prayed to God; that means you believe in Him and no take backs! We TRUE Christians(tm) are well aware of the kind of wishy washing waffling you atheists do. No, the only reason who hide behind you naturalism is because you in TRUTH™ hate God. So why do you hate Him?

As for proof of God’s existence there is The Bible. It's written by God. How do you explain The Bible without God? A book must have a writer. What do you believe in spontaneous generation as well as magical monkeys given birth to people?
