This is a Christian church's discussion forum. Did the other God-mockers over at richarddawkins.net kick you out for being tiresome?

We're ignoring you on purpose. We have no interest in your blasphemy. Go away.

    Brandi,

I can't debate the message with these people so I resort to attacking the messenger because I'm so mad that they know more about the Bible than I do!

    Again...

'Religion' is a MAN-MADE psychological construct. Christianity/Hinduism/Buddhism/Satanism etc. were all man-made thought-constructs...they did not EXIST until we (mankind) made them up in our own minds. 'Religion' is the anti-spirit.

Before mankind could fathom the concept of 'religion', before mankind could fathom the thought-concept of 'faith', before mankind could fathom the notion of 'supernatural power(s)', before mankind could fathom the belief in a 'divine power'....before all of that, there was: GOOD, EVIL, LOVE, HATE, RESPECT, AND DISRESPECT...ALL OF WHICH EXISTED NATURALLY IN THE FREE-WILL, SPACE-AND-TIME IN WHICH WE EXIST IN.

Religion gets in the way of mankind reaching/understand his or her own 'self-actualization'. The natural spirit that is in all our physical bodies does not need religion, all it needs is FREE-WILL and the universal expectation of RESPECT.

I don't know, but maybe that's a specific instance for that time. The Bible clearly says that David was upright.

2 Samuel 22:22-24 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.
I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.

Reading further into Ecclesiastes 7, you can see that the author says God made man upright.

    Ecclesiastes 7:29
Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

Anyone who wishes harm on another human being, or who hopes the reactors melt, is a horrible piece of shit.

Jesus would be ashamed of you.

Japanese tried to save their precious power plant by dropping tons and tons of water on top of the reactor. But the japanese heathens should realize there is only one way to fix their reactors: They should gather around the nuclear plant and read the holy bible.

But since that is very unlikely to happen I pray that Fukushima reactor will truly melt.

The're is no denying in God's will and power and God will destroy them if japanese won't change their ways.

Finally a good point. I've been on this forum all evening and this is the first reasonable thing I've heard. I do see your point on this and I'm going to give it some thought and study. I do feel that the lion's share of verses that use the word perfect would be better translated mature but this one has a more difficult rendering. Still I think it is possible if you understand it to me completion as opposed to sinless perfection. I will give this some thought and I appreciate a reasonable post - finally.

You would have a point if I wasn't a True Christian™ whose every though, word, and deed is guided by the Spirit. However, as a perfect, righteous, blood-bought beloved son of God, it is entirely my right and my prerogative to judge you and all the other false christians who come here in a vain attempt to promulgate false doctrine.

The first several verses of Matthew 7 tells us that if we judge, we will be judged accordingly. But as all my actions are guided by the Holy Spirit and I only judge in righteousness, I welcome God to judge me! Perhaps He will give me an even larger mansion in Heaven! Praise Him!

You could not be more wrong but let me predict that you will of course claim to be right. I welcome your prayers but not your vile judgments. I'm only hoping to set you straight and deter you from your self-righteousness, not sow discord. By your responses I can see that is very doubtful.
Please do not mistake my scourging and chastening as a negative thing. I want you to join me in Heaven, and if I did not love you with Christian Love, I wouldn't be wasting my words on you.

    Hebrews 12:5-8
And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

I hope you have found this edifying, and I exhort you to take your faith more seriously.

Also 1 John is addressed to believers. This IS NOT speaking t to the unsaved. The audience is beleivers. As backup I submit again the verses from the Apostle Paul:

1 Timothy 1:15 - This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Paul says "I am chief". This is present tense, not past before he was saved.
To be honest with you, friend. 1 and 2 Timothy are highly suspect as not being actually written by Paul even by Christian scholars. You should do a search on Authorship of Pauline epistles.

How dare you suggest that the Bible contradicts Itself!

Paul is addressing unsaved trash here, not True Christians™. In fact, I was taught in seminary that Paul was addressing dirty, hypocritical jews in Romans 2. But don't believe me; read for yourself.

Let's read what Paul says when he is writing to Jesus' elect instead of Christ-killers.

    I Corinthians 2:15
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

As blood-bought children of God who follow His Commandments and abide by His Word without deviation, not only may we judge other; others may not judge us!

Paul goes on to tell the Corinthians that we will indeed judge angels in our righteousness and perfection. Hosanna!

    I Corinthians 6:2-4
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
Again you presume to judge my salvation and claim to have discernment from the Holy Spirit - not your right to do so. You could not be more wrong but let me predict that you will of course claim to be right. I welcome your prayers but not your vile judgments.
