Well, I am a man still in my first marriage with three kids who does not believe that a man must lift his hand for His wife. A man is much stronger than a woman, so what you are really doing is being a bully. I believe if you have respect for each other and both make God your first priority you will have no need to lift up your hand for your wife.
The wife knows the man is the head of the family and has the last say on important matters.
You earn respect not force it down by physically harming the other person. The man must be the protector of the family under our lord , not the enforcer of bodily harm on his family. Do you want your family to love you or fear you?
I am so far from being a homosexual, but to be honest I do not care what you call me! I played sports all my life and never indulged myself in feminine activities.
So go on and try to call me what you want, if it makes a man out of you, go for it!

Way to dodge the point there, LADY MAN. I asked you a simple question and you completely avoided it, so I can therefore conclude you probably cry yourself to sleep every night while your wife makes out a list of chores for you to do in the morning.

The whole "don't hit your wife because she can't defend herself" argument is utter nonsense. She has no reason to defend herself from a GODly man who is simply administering a righteous judgment from the LORD upon her person. My wife THANKS me every time I give her a solid smack across the face for being lazy or thinking dirty thoughts.

So what next? Are you going to say that GOD is being a sadistic bully by burning people alive forever and ever because they can't defend themselves from Him? Your logic is really skewed, friend.

Do you at least beat on your kids? Or are you afraid they'll hit back?

You're not a homosexual? I don't believe you. Old Man Hatchet could tell us real quick what kind of pervert you are just by looking in your underwear drawer during a routine Neighborhood Sin Inspection™!

It's people like you who give Christianity a bad name!

I punch, kick, burn, and nearly drown my wife every chance I get. I shame and belittle her at every turn. Does it make me feel like a big man inside? You bet. Why? Because I know I'm doing God's work. When I see a purplish-black, fist-sized bruise on my wife's face that I created through Christ's tough love, it moves me tremendously. When it finally fades, I feel an emptiness that only another savage beating can fill. I guess I'm just a sentimental fool.

You guys are so funny, you probably a bunch of clowns at the local Circus!

Oh yes I do beat my kids and then I kick them in the face and then I throw them against the wall and then I punch them in the ribs, because that makes me feel like a manly man!!(j/k)

It is very easy for me being 5 times bigger than my kid to hurt him and enforce fear in his mind, but I want him to love me, have a smile on his face when he sees me and have trust in me to tell me the truth even if he did wrong.

You are all manly men! So tough hitting kids and women! There are different ways of discipline and some actually work better on some people than hitting. Hitting must be your last resort not first!
When did Jesus hit anyone? As far as I know He only chased the people out of the Church when they were doing business there! Jesus said love your enemy and when they hit you in the face turn the other cheek for them to hit, not go and attack people and see how much harm you can inflict!
Fear is from satan and if you have your family not loving you but fearing you , you have satan in your life!
Who is disciplining you when you are stepping out of line?

Hmmmm. If fear is from satan, then why am I so right to be God fearing? Wake up and smell the weeping willow nancyboy.

Laugh all you want now, but when you go to judgment, just try saying the same thing to Jesus (and remember that your Judge will be the real Jesus of the Bible, not your fluffy-bunny Oprah Jesus).

You are all manly men! So tough hitting kids and women! There are different ways of discipline and some actually work better on some people than hitting. Hitting must be your last resort not first!
Then what does the following mean?

Prov. 22:15: Foolishness [is] bound in the heart of a child; [but] the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

When did Jesus hit anyone? As far as I know He only chased the people out of the Church when they were doing business there! Jesus said love your enemy and when they hit you in the face turn the other cheek for them to hit, not go and attack people and see how much harm you can inflict!
Taking snippets of Scripture out of context is a sure warning sign of feel-good false Christianity. Our Lord actually said,

Matt. 5:38-39: Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

As you can see, Jesus was talking about the old "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" law, not the Godly commands in both the OT and the NT about a husband and father's place in the family.

Fear is from satan and if you have your family not loving you but fearing you , you have satan in your life!
I count "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom/knowledge" three times in the Bible:

Psalm 111:10: The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.

Prov. 1:7: The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Prov. 9:10: The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.

                    Is that from satan?

Who is disciplining you when you are stepping out of line?
As husband and father, I am the one to whom God has assigned the responsibility of head of household. In our larger faith community, as a junior pastor, I am subject to the senior pastors.

That's not Christianity. That's secular humanism. The Bible tells us that a good Christian wife will fear her husband.

                      1Pet 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
1Pet 3:2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

You can be a secular humanist if you want, but don't confuse folks by referring to yourself as a Christian. If you are a Christian, you will read the Bible and obey it, ESPECIALLY when the teachings of the Bible conflict with your conscience.

Please take a moment to read this sermon of mine: Follow the Word of God, not your "conscience".

Just a few verses that set a little different view on this matter,

James 2:12-13 “Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment!”

1 John 4:19 “We love because he first loved us?”

1 Corinthians 13:4-8a “Love is patience, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record or wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

Jeremiah 29:11 ““For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.””

If God’s plan is not to harm you, do you really think husbands should be?

What ARE you quoting from? Grimm's fairy tales?

                            James 3:12-13 says this:

2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
2:13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

Friend, it says exactly the OPPOSITE of what your "Bible" says. Are you reading from "His Satanic Majesty's Request'? Or come Catholic hogwash from Denmark? Because you are surely not reading Scripture.

We only use the one true Bible here, pal. That would be the KJV1611 Authorized Version.

                                All other versions are false.
