Are you guys sick, if you were to be caught masterbating would you want to be spanked and restricted. God created every human with free will and it was Satan who did not want humans to have that oppertunity. By forcing her to be observed while she showers and dictate what she can do you take away her free will. You have no right to punish your wife because you have no right to speak for god, only the son of god jesus could do that. Also beating your wife by punching her in her stomach area will hurt your unborn child. God can not protect your unborn child if you are stupid and try to harm it just like god would not be able to save your unborn child if your wife had an abortion, which seems no worse then what you are doing because you are putting the baby in harms way.

Oh and don't respond to me if you are going to tell me to jerk off to gay porn because homosexuality is wrong and that just makes you look stupid

And yes, Homosexuality is wrong. No true believer would ever tell you to touch yourself or another's private region. If being wrong makes your life bearable during your brief stay on earth, then so be it. Only when you are able to open your arms, heart and mind to Jesus, can you be saved.

Since when is a baby in a womans stomach? If it was, she would defecate it out. A baby is below her stomach. And nothing will ever happen to a unborn baby, God would never allow it. Unless the child was destined to be evil spawn. God protects the good babies, sends the bad ones to Hell or saves them for heathen parents.

Binding and restricting is good for a womans soul. Just like a dog likes (and needs) to know right from wrong, so does a woman. She knows she is wanted. If you did not care, you would never correct her. The mere thought of that breaks my heart.

I am here because I see a problem. While I agree with the vast majority of the posts and posters here on a great many things, I am appalled at this thread and this one mission of "Promise Keepers".

I am hoping I am allowed to state my opinions against this just as opinions I may give for other threads in the future which I support.

However, this thread prompted me more than any other to finally register.

First off, I know this is a 'guys only forum', but I think there needs to be at least one post from a woman that isn't completely hateful.

First off:
Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

In my opinion, and based on what I have been taught about Christianity it's God's role to judge each of us. To say this person will go to hell and this person won't isn't our place, and more importantly it is us saying that we have the right to make decisions for God. Live a good life, follow the path that God puts before you, and let Him the the judge of those around you. Don't let arguing, judging, and being hateful take away from your focus on God.

Second:
Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.

Yes the bible does say for wives to submit to the husband, but it does not say 'wives be a slave to the husband'. To submit to your husband means to yield to their influence. I would do anything for my husband. If he asked me to walk to the end of the earth I would walk until I found it. But I do this because he hold up the second part of God's teaching. Husbands love your wife, do not be harsh with them. Love them as you love your own flesh. Be to them what Christ is to you. To expect a wife to follow God's words but the husband not to is not following the bible. It is selectively following what you want to read.

If you do not agree with how she is acting don't tell her to pray while you judge her. Pray with her. Pray for her. Let her know why you don't agree with it, and why you feel she shouldn't either. I think you putting a little more faith in God resolving the issues in your marriage would go much farther than putting your faith in a paddle.

Also, just on a side note. The devil works in many ways to take our focus away from the Lord. If you are on here fighting with people who are just trying to get you riled up, aren't you just letting him win. I don't think God is pro-hate LOL.

It is AGAINST the teachings of the Lord to demean another human being, especially, I feel, someone that God has chosen for you to spend your life with. Warping this to include beatings and "closet time" and seeking YOUR forgiveness is wrong. She need only pray to God to forgive her. Your role is to support her in her path to forgiveness, but by holding her, not hurting her. By cherishing her, not chastising her.

Women under such oppression, speak out! Let your voice be heard. By the will of God, these "men" will be made to understand if you become the vessel for change.

I do love my wife, with all my heart. Would you want to make a mistake and not have it corrected? Eventually, you stop making mistakes. Would you rather be ignored and live in an uncaring relationship? My wife knows I care. I knows she cares. We all have jobs to do. Provide for the Family, take care of the Home, Love Jesus. It is not complicated.
We each have a job to do. When the job is done with abandon and disregard, it cannot be allowed to continue. In all groups, there must be a leader, this responsiblity, heavy as it is, falls to the shoulders of the person best equiped to handle it, the husband. Through out time this has be shown to be true. Women have been the the best homemakers. A woman is weak and not stong minded. Females have a hard time doing real work when with child so her duties in life are commensurate. We all have a place in the world, white men on top, dogs on the bottom. Women and the other races inbetween. Really not very complicated

My wife is never punished. I only show her and enforce in her, the error of her ways, to which she is always grateful. Any pain she feels is her own. She often runs to her prayer closet afterwards to pray and ask the lords forgiveness. I never have to suggest she go pray.
