Where is god in this site? I have read about marijuana more times than I can count. I see people attacking each other, if one person can show me that this site is for education of Jesus Christ and God and not a recreational adrenaline releasing debate with name calling I will stay; otherwise, I will gladly leave you all to enjoy tormenting each other with witty insults.

I would love to know if anyone has heard of Dr. Kent Hovind he is the main reason I have persued the Baptist religion. I really appreciate his approach to things.

When the bible was written, social customs of the time influenced it. It was written by men. It was not written by God personally. Humans are biased and influenced by social norms.

We don't need to worry about misinterpreting what God wants, because we have received the Holy Ghost, so we know that the Bible is a correct transmission of the Word of God:
