No we are not. 1st John 1:7 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." Revelation 1:5 "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood"

Re: What is Fap?
My point specificly from John 8 was, You without sin, cast the first stone.Originally posted by Mistress Cookie View PostI am merely saying, Brother, that we are mere humans, without your brilliant understanding (cough cough) and it helps us if you break it down for us a bit more (i.e., make a point)
Several forum members have "damned" people eternally and called them sinners and such. We are all sinners. We have all sinned. I am not saying you cannot be forgiven, nor am I saying that any wont be forgiven, but Jesus had called on the ones without sin (being none) to cast the first stone. See? Yes we are all covered under God's grace and love, but we are born with sin nature, and will still sin from time to time. I chose not to judge others, for I accept God's grace and love, and do freely believe all to be elligible for his grace, mercy and understanding. For we were all lost once, but found, blind but now see. Do not hate me for my belief that I should not judge, the basis for Christianity and the acceptance to heaven is not judging others, but 1. Believing in Jesus, 2. believing Jesus Died and rose again, 3. and that we are forgiven. The only way to heaven is through Jesus, not any of your(collective, I'm not singling anyone out) judging. I am confident that God and God alone will determine if I am elligible to go to heaven, NOT any of you. I will strive to live a sin free life, and accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, and try to help others along the way. Love is the only thing that will draw people to Jesus. Period. Do you see how many negative responses on this forum were obtained by judging those that replied. Poeople appear to have signed on this forum due to the negativity and hate, not because they wish to be saved from eternal damnation. Do you not think focusing on the positive would be a much needed and much appreciated change, not only to this forum, but in society as a whole. Jesus told us to reach the 4 corners of the earth with the gospel, He never said how, and did not say we had to judge them to get it done.
Let me give you an example. Lets say you are walking down the street. You see a person who is ugly. Do you tell them how ugly they are to try to help them to fix this problem? I would imagine the person would be offended, upset, cry, be angy, ect. But, if you were to befriend the ugly person, and assist them with self esteem, and be a friend to them, do you not think this could boost thier self confidence, they would wish to change thier appearance, and therefore maybe be less ugly?
The same applies to Christianity and saving others. As Christians we are to live as an example to others. We do not have to brag that we do not sin, we are better than others. Matthew says the meek will inherit the earth. I can not expect you to believe the same way I do. I try not to hate any one, even though I may not agree with them. Show them Love. Christ's love. You will most assuredly catch more flies with sugar than vinegar.

I would like to say, though, I am grateful you have found this place, and show a dedication to discussing Scripture.Originally posted by The Real JC View PostSo you would pick and choose parts of the Bible to read, and, call John 8 endless diatribe. I think not. Who are you to judge what part of the Word of God is valuable and not. This forum is an abomination unto God. I pray mercy on your souls. I hope none of you cause an innocent to sin or be led astray.
It is only by discussing the Holy Scriptures that you will come to understand them.
I offer you this little snack to refresh you.

All parts of the Holy Bible are valuable. But only if they are properly used.Who are you to judge what part of the Word of God is valuable and not.
Don't waste time on that. We are all heading straight to Heaven. Spend time on saving your own soul instead since it is heading straight to hell at the moment. Why it is very important to avoid hell: Mark 9:43 "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched"I pray mercy on your souls.

We follow all of the Holy Bible. Not just the fluffy parts. And this includes: Leviticus 19:15 "In righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour." John 7:24 "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment."Originally posted by The Real JC View PostNow. ALL of you worry about your own sins, not each others.
And again you show you didn't read all of the Holy Bible: 1st John 1:7 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." Revelation 1:5 "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Then you are not only stupid, but blind as well. All we do is out of love. We are trying to save souls from eternal damnation here!I have read this entire thread, and viewed nothing but hate

Re: What is Fap?
John 8 says: And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Matthew 7 says: Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
KJV
Now. ALL of you worry about your own sins, not each others.
Do you get cleaned up to take a bath? than why would you try to stop sinning before getting saved? God changes the heart, not man. We can only try to do our best. There is not one without sin, NO NOT ONE!!!. That is why God sent Jesus to die for us, because none of us were worthy or able.
1 Kings 8 Says: If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;
Matthew 5 says:
And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: 2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, 3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. 25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: 32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: 34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: 35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. 36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. 41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. 42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
I have not seen one of these in a Landover Babtist forum member. I have read this entire thread, and viewed nothing but hate, judgement, and spite for those who have wandered here to see and /or answer your innocent question, which has a not so innocent answer. For Matthew 18:6 says: but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
I encorage you all, to read, and live the way GOD wants you too, not the way any man says. Jesus told us that many will come, saying Jesus is Lord, and be false prophets.
Remember: Love thy neighbor as thyself.
John 14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Remember: 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

He also says: Proverbs 6:16-19 "These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."
