Dear French person. I agree that Belgium is a wonderful place. It is also the world's largest invasion route from Rome. Everyone who has ever invaded anything in Europe has walked, ridden or motored through Belgium.

That fact is the very reason Belgium has such a good school system. The Low French learned centuries ago that it makes more sense to stand alongside the road and cheer in the language of whatever the invaders happen to speak instead of standing under the Eiffel tower with a rifle until a couple of lost German dispatch riders pull up to ask directions and then surrendering the entire country to them.

I have never seen an automobile or a diamond stamped "made in Belgium". I think you are making it up.

But If I remember correctly the only time we EVER surrendered was in the second world war(and that was because our stupid king was a coward). The "Japanese" cars that are sold here are overwhelmingly manufactured in American plants by Godly American workers.
