I would like to say that sceptical Atheist did at no point say that men were evil and worthless as he would be slating himself. I think he was saying that people like you are evil and worthless oppressors.

Nobody enjoys beating his wife but every so often it's necessary. Look! I'm sure that on your journey to Hell you want to take others with you but my wife happily submits to me as God tells her to.

I feel sorry for your wife it would seem she is in her own personal hell being married to you. She is a human being and should be treated as your equal not as a punch bag. I am not going to hell 1. because I am a good person who has never done harm to anyone or anything 2. because it does not exist. You however have serious control and anger issues which should not be encouraged by people in your faith but should be stopped!

There seems to be little evidence for your butterfly idea. Jesus, however, mentions Hell on numerous occasions. Are you trying to say Jesus was lying?

I'm not saying he is lying, so much as not only did he not write it, I don't believe he is in anyway a saviour or a God or the God. I believe he existed, as a man. He may even have been an unbelievable carpenter like his daddy, that is all however. The rest I believe to total pig swill.

Also, I like butterflys, but it could be moths I suppose. Although moths are ikky. Down with the infidel moths!

Have you ever witnessed a member of your family been beaten oh yes I am guessing so you are probably the one doing it. I don't think that God (if he were real) would be on the side of the man beating his wife and therefore due to your beliefs you would be the one burning in hell.

I am so thankful that she has managed to get away from you, and I would thank God, if I believed in Him, which I do not.

So my wife never came home from the store. She left me and took the kids. I spent hours calling her family and friends and they either wouldn't answer or they would say they didn't know where she was and hang up on me. She finally texted me and said "The kids and I are fine" and that was it. I have no idea where she is.

I know this must be part of God's plan but I feel hurt and betrayed. My wife is the sweetest woman in the world and she didn't deserve to be treated that way. I wish I could go back and do it over again, perhaps I could have been more subtle. I'll keep praying for guidance but I just want her to come back. This is not the way I envisioned this turning out, but God is in control and I'll let Him lead the way.

First off, Lady Effect and Etheldreda can keep their opinions to themselves, why you even looking in this part of the forum? I'm sure you could be doing something more constructive like baking a cake or something.
If your husbands knew you were on here unauthorised you'd getting getting your eyes blacked up by now so shut your cake holes.

We cannot be ANYWHERE without our husband's approval, so you shouldn't worry! (and you really should know this, you seem very well informed about christian women yet you are clearly not!) And I am afraid you are not in the position to tell us women what to do!!
Sometimes it is the women's mission to talk to weirdos, like you, because our great and busy Pastors and Brothers have more important stuff to do! You are not the priority here!
