Answer: No. Overwatch is a multiplayer first-person shooting game that is composed of the nations of different continents, Great Britain, Russia, Germany, Sweden, India, China, Japan. And Christians do play this game, I'm not one of them, but I can assure you. They aren't any less Christian than they were prior to playing. Their sexual preference hasn't changed either, their still very straight.
Question 3: Are there Christian gamers in amongst the youth of the Baptists in my country?
Answer: Yes, there are in fact, church-going Christians who are my friends, who are Baptist and still enjoy the quality of a good video game. What does it mean? Well it simply means that you haven't been doing research and are just simply hating on the gamers of this world. Well, God grant you peace and serenity and a good pair of eyes to see the real world today. Amen.
Question 4: Why are there so many different people, we have hammer swinging Germans, laser shooting Russians, time-travelling British, cowboys, ninja, doctors and Korean Starcraft champions?
Answer: Have you heard of diversity? Yes, that's it. Because Blizzard wanted to not be racist and said "let's have a bunch of characters with different abilities, and different cultural backgrounds gather together and be a class based first-person shooter" You see, in this game, people from all over the globe can enter the battlefield and have fun together. Asia, America, Brazil.... They're all there, and many Christians among them too.
To sum it up:
You, Pastor Fred, your congregation and this online forum except the people who have attempted to defend this game, are but one millionth of the world who doesn't like games and chose to be bias about them. You are no different from the pharisees who saw Jesus dining with sinners and conspired against him.

Well, as a game it may be well designed. I don't know. I've heard it avoids using quaternions in the software, a claim which would be supported by the very few clips I've seen. If you think it's trying not to offend any religion though, surely the best way to achieve that would be not to include religious cues at all?

In a solitaire app for instance, we do not have a King of Clubs who is a Zoroastrian or the Queen of Hearts who hangs out at the temple of Aphrodite whenever possible. Those details could have been included by the designers but have not been. And unless you have a “special” set of cards purchased in France or somewhere the Queen of Diamonds will not be cocking her leg up in the air at any stage of the game. Normalising that sort of behaviour is unnecessary, very rarely occurs at whist drives unless some fool has been trying to make homemade absinthe which might have happened once in the 1920's and even if it did I have never seen it featured in on-line whist or bridge.

But in the Overwatch that sort of thing seems to go on all the time. Homosexuality is always wrong, The Bible explains. Does the knave of Spades, transgender rent-boy, appear in any card game? No.

The Bible teaches us that Buddhism is always wrong. It would be easy enough to adjust an image so that the King of Hearts was ogling a gilded statue and murmuring some mantra but that is not done. That's how games not just try but actually succeed in not offending any religion.

It is interesting to note that even false religions which worship nonexistent gods have the fluffy bunnies. Valhalla was open only to warriors who proved their valor before Odin and then died in battle. I'm not sure how you see yourself as you sit in your room playing games on the computer your parents bought for you, but however you view yourself, you would have to be teched to actually think of yourself as a Norse warrior pushing buttons to slay your enemies. And the Valkyries- They are no more interested in you than the real girls are.
