The fact of the matter is it is not known if someone will become addicted to them unless they play them. Why put ANYONE at that risk?

For the record too, I also think things like cigarettes, alcohol and other assorted drugs should also be eradicated, so my judgement call on this is not just a bias against these games.

Addictions are evil and a form of sin as the verses below quite clearly show.
It's the weakness. People become slaves to their desires. It is self abuse.

I have found that frustration usually comes from the elements of truth people find in opposing views, that the just don't want to see or acknowledge themselves. Just letting you know as well, I am also against the Christian games out on the market. It is not just a secular issue with me.

Also, I don't have to be part of the drug culture to realize the adverse affects they have on people.

Whether gaming is a culture or not does not give it any more credibility in the eyes of God. Worshipping false idols and false gods is also a "culture" and to many a norm but does that make it right?

You are obviously not seeing the points that have been shown to you as you ARE part of the culture. (I came to that conclusion given your comment as to learning about the gaming culture - you must be part of it to hold such pro views. )
