Now, This is a 2 year old thread I know that but please bear with me. I just wanted to say a couple of things to the maker of this thread.
1:isn't it really arrogant to call yourself the "Mouth of god"?Its practically saying that your above everyone.I wonder how far you could influence the world by saying "Im the mouth of god!"
2:I noticed that you must have got really far into the game (KEY WORD HERE GAME:MEANING NOT REAL IN THE SLIGHTEST)to have that elf wearing one of the top armor classes available?
3: you are being very Hypocritical in the way you are saying that God forbids the use of magic......but only when he wills it to be done. wtf is that.
Lastly,I work in a christian enviroment and even though they are devot and go to a reputable church every sunday, when they recict the prayers they comment on them such as saying *oh this will be a hard one to do*.
P.S Ive read about 3 pages of Genesis......bored me to tears.Well then im off to hell *snicker* go have fun being hypocritsComment

Very good. God does approve of magic in certain circumstances, the story of Moses for one. It's not hypocritical because God realizes magic is very powerful and destructive and should only be used if He specifically allows it. Violent video games dont affect school shootings, Sir. Also the game has things called "mods" short for "modifications" that can change the game. The "unmodded game" may not be bible-based, but if you were to "mod" it enough it could have all the churches be based on Jesus and God. And make it so magic isn't out there. And also make it so elves are actually creatures you get to hunt and kill in the Lord's name. You would probably have to make these "mods", but in return you would have a game where you can worship jesus, hunt "demons", and have fun serving the lord.
Would this make the game "ok" in the eyes of the lord?Comment

You seem to be going to an awful lot of trouble looking for wiggle room with this game perversion. You know God doesn't want you to sin, so why not just stop and give your life over to Him?

Because, I don't believe every last thing the bible says... Yes I am a catholic, but, I don't believe that women deserve to be beat, that playing video games is a sin, that dungeons and dragons is a sin, etc.
I do believe in God and Jesus (not so sure about Jesus, but for the most part I do believe in him)...Comment

I agree with Pastor Zeke about you looking for "wiggle room". You're trying to make a violent video game dressed up to look like its for True Christians(tm). The player may think he is committing no sin when in reality he is. The worse part is that Christian mod or whatever would be a gateway to more violent, Satanic-inspired games. Just like how marijuana easily turns teenagers into heroin addicts, a Christian Fallout could bring even more kids into perverse "games" like Oblivion or Grand Theft Auto or Final Fantasy.
Ironically a Christian Fallout would be even worse than regular Fallout! The reason being is many more Christian kids would be allowed to play it by their parents, and that would turn them into video game addicts. Many Christian homes refuse to have Fallout in it because its such a vile product. But sneak in Christian Fallout and you have a problem!Comment
