Now michele, this is not the first time you have lied to us. I have to admit, I am getting a little tired of the lies and half truths. Facts are not something you can create out of thin air.

Playing these video games, reading a book and thinking you know all about guns are the first steps to a psychotic rampage. I see it in the news all the time. Nut job murdering is just like other devious behavior. A kid has a beer, big deal. Eventually, he is drinking the hard stuff and he moves on to mary jane. Next thing he is shooting heroin and raping old ladies. You know perfectly well of the progression I am speaking. Kid start off with a innocent (or so they think) Mario game. They move on to the games like Fallout. Next, to keep that 'rush' alive, they have to migrate to the real thing. You have not shot people, possibly true, but you have to know, you need to end that sentence with 'yet'. It is only a matter of time.

While some research shows that many hard drug users used cannabis or alcohol before moving on to the harder substances, other research shows that some serious drug abusers have used other drugs before using cannabis or alcohol. The former is particularly evident in individual drug-abuse histories which tend to show that "hard drug" users do progress from one drug to another. Nonetheless, these histories and research do not indicate a causal relationship between the early uses and the later uses and, therefore, do not confirm the gateway theory.
