Hello, I am avid gamer, whilst i dont follow any faith i stumbled across this and though you might like an inside point of view.

Fallout 3 is a game based in a post apocalyptical world. laws dont exsist and there are mutants and and raiders abundant. While the game does sport lots of violence and the OPTION to be a evil character your not rewarded for being evil. The game actually wants you to be a good character as you get better things for it throughout. And in most cases any "murders" as you call them come from a roving band of raiders attacking you first. And what do our laws call it if you shoot someone shooting at you? self defense.

This is totally unacceptable. What do these people want, to inspire another Columbine? And America would NEVER fall victim to nuclear attack, God wouldn't allow it!

Being a person who is roughly the age those guys would have been, it has more to do with the fact that they didnt get the help they needed from teachers and the staff on hand at their school to stop the bullying and then took matters into their own hands. Their parents had more to do with it then video games I can assure you. As they should have paid better attention to what their children were doing. Had they looked into those kids rooms they would have seen the bombs.

As for America never falling to a nuclear holocaust dont hold your breath. Russia and China could put the hurt on us real quick if they needed to. So to be so fast to assume that America is the powerhouse it was 20-30 years ago. As for god not allowing it, im sure the Japanese thought the same when we dropped it on them. ask them how that worked.

FACT there are 10-20 CONFIRMED cases of people who have commited a crime due to the influence of a video game.

Get your facts straight. The murders caused by video games are much higher.

Fact: 72% of Americans play video games.
Fact: There were11,149,927 crimes in 2008, from murder, rape, assault, robbery, etc.
Fact: There 16,272 murders in 2008.

That means 72% of criminals have played video games, which comes out to over 8 million crimes. 11,715 murders have been committed by people who have played video games in 2008 alone!

Keep in mind this is the conservative estimate, since probably about 90% or more criminals play video games, but for fairness I am using the general population statistic.

Obviously not all people who play video games will do crimes, but it definitely increases the likelihood of them doing so.
