GREEN DAY IS NOT SATANIC NOR METAL FOR THAT MATTER.
NO, they are not the most religious band out there.. but music today is .. well , not good..
Billie Joe Armstrong is agnostic, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's worshiping the devil or anything.. They are not anti-God but they are anti-WAR.
So before any of you judge them, listen to their music. They all tell a story about the average person's struggles. And East Jesus Nowhere is not satanic or summoning any demons.. it just speaks about how the government has affected religion and how people react/think.
I happen to be a HUGE Green Day fan, but that doesn't mean I see them as a role model. I LIKE their music but I LOVE God.
As Billie stated "We're not a political band. We're not telling people what to think, we're just telling them TO think."

Well, to start with, Green Day is two words and they are not heavy metal. They aren't tree huggers, the name refers to pot smoking. Billie is spelled with an "ie" not a "y." Now that you have some of this straight lets talk about this criticism. Religion is filled with hypocrisy, and just because they don't want to be a part of that doesn't make them terrible people. On the subject of homosexuality, isn't it said that god loves all of his children. So what? Is he going to damn them to hell just because they're attracted to someone of the opposite sex? Hypocrisy. The problem is, you're all so blinded by your "faith" that you don't see it. And those of you that do make up some sorry excuse as to how you're still right. Green Day isn't "threading your youth." Green Day is a beacon of hope in these times where the world is full of hypocrites like you. As a teenager in America, I can say that these guys have done no damage to me whatsoever. I'm a huge Green Day fan, I make straight A's, I don't do drugs, and I'm an individual because of it. Bottom line, learn your facts before you post this garbage, and stop being such hypocrites.

Greenday is heavy metal and you are all wrong. You are going to go to Hell. Your day will come, soon I might add.

One day, you will wake up dead.
Whether due to your own disgusting sinning or the Lords divine will, you are dead. Instantly your soul begin falling towards the black abyss above Hell. The falling seems eternal as you gather speed and the heat begins to grow. Then you notice a red dot below you growing larger by the second, this is the Lake in the center of Hell. It is the brightest point in Hell therefore it is visible for a great distance. Keep in mind that the farther you fall, the further from Christ you are.
As you gain speed and the flames become apparent you may wonder how you can stop this from happening. The answer is simple. It's too late and you can't, you're doomed. Your soul is damned and it WILL happen. The temperature is now approaching the unbearable limit as your flesh begins to smoulder and ignite and you continue to build speed as you plummet toward the now visible boiling Lake of Fire. You can almost make out individual souls thrashing in the magma with your flaming eyesockets. Soon you will join them, your terror mounts as your screams become gargled with the stench of Hells evil smell. The heat becomes excruciating as you notice your skin peeling away and your bones becoming visible and black. Flaming and screaming in anguish, you splashdown into the acidic brimstone of Satans Lake at around 250 MPH. You are instantly vaporized and reformed as a tormented soul writhing in absolute terror in the deafening depths of the Lake that Burns Eternal. The pain is beyond comprehension as you gnash your teeth so hard they shatter in your mouth. Satan periodically plucks you from the flames to savagely rape repeatedly and casually tosses you to his infernal minions to rip apart and rape at will, only to be reformed and have this scenario repeated...over and over and over, forever.
Is it still funny mocking our mission to Save your soul? We want you to enjoy Heaven and eternal praise and worship at the feet of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ.

They are not punk, you fool! My neighbours play this song very loudly a lot (I cover my ears so I cannot here the sinful beats). That is punk. Bands like Greenday with their Billy Joel and Tray Cool are nothing but thrashcore metal bands trying to tempt young people into joining Satan in hell. You should write stories, since I'm quite positive you came up with all of that on the spot.

This band is not terrible. They save lives. They save many kids from suicide every day. Don't you dare make them out to be monsters. Everyone sins and that's undeniable. None of you are perfect but you're just too afraid to admit it. Everyone sins at some point in their life, so you're no better than anyone else. There are worse things in this world than Green Day. You're all just looking for something else to pick at because everyone is tired of the endless repetition of every other issue you chose to talk down. You're not saved. You're just sheltered from what the real world is actually like. Grow up.

Green Day punk?

When I was unsaved trash I used to listen to punk, even Americans could do some good punk. The Stooges were doing it better than Green Day 20 years before. Compared to The Dead Kennedy's Green Day sound like a bunch of school girls.

However now that I am a True Christian I realise that all of the above will burn in Hell. GLORY!
