This band is not terrible. They save lives. They save many kids from suicide every day. Don't you dare make them out to be monsters. Everyone sins and that's undeniable. None of you are perfect but you're just too afraid to admit it. Everyone sins at some point in their life, so you're no better than anyone else. There are worse things in this world than Green Day. You're all just looking for something else to pick at because everyone is tired of the endless repetition of every other issue you chose to talk down. You're not saved. You're just sheltered from what the real world is actually like. Grow up.

Allow me to say its fairly amusing, the argument you have here. I just can't stand the misconception you have about Green Day.

I'm not going to bother going into too much detail about what genre Green Day is in. I don't think any genre can fully define them. They're talented and enjoy experimenting with how they can make different types of music.

The thing is, they don't worship the devil. They do not ask anyone to. Their music does not tell people what to think. Their music simply tells people to think!

To stop accepting everything just the way it is. To question the results, the antecedents, the lies, the heroes. Everything. To know that one person can make a difference.

The very first post commented that because they're songs have titles like Jesus of Suburbia and East Jesus Nowhere, they are automatically promoting the worship of satan. If you would actually listen to the lyrics you would see that Jesus of Suburbia has absolutely NOTHING to do with religion. Its merely the tale of a troubled teenage boy who decides his current life is not worth living and sets off to find a new one. How is that a bad thing? Its a very inspirational song, frankly. Its telling you that if you really think your current home is bad, make a new one. Don't just whine about it.

Tell me any song of theirs you find to be blasphemous and I'll show proof its not. That it is resounding, touching and inspiring.

As for the Uno Dos Tre Quatro quadruplet, whats so wrong about the album covers? I don't see anything wrong with putting your face on your own album. At any rate, no one shows an album, they listen to them LMAO! HAve you heard some of the songs on it? Stray Heart, Kill the DJ, Let Yourself Go etc. They are all highly inspirational songs which just so happens to be sung by a band with great vocals and great musical prowess, which is among the reasons it applies to so many people.
