Most country artists praise God and are Real Americans. I get a little worried with some of the older stuff like Hank Williams always talking about liquor and sin and try to avoid these obvious heathens.

As always, pray to Jesus after listening to anything but hymns to make sure you are not insulting Him.

I so, I like Carrie Underwood, She seems like a pretty safe artist. She even sings a song with Jesus in the title "Jesus, Take the wheel. I do question her song "Before he cheats" though.

Music will not send anybody to hell. Just because YOU PERSONALLY do not enjoy the music does not mean the music is evil. All types of music are creative and beautiful in their own right. All music is a great cathartic experience to somebody. Where in the bible does it state that Simon and Garfunkel is evil? Or music from the 1980's is evil?
