Joshua: Frankly i was quite suprised. at how little i agreed with this. but here is my two cents on the matter

I will begin with the ehhh... "walking penises"... the screenshot provided appears to be a bug in the game. a mishap with the code of the game which put the wrong textures on a creature in the game. the "walking Penis" is actually a fantasy creature that exists only in the game called a "creeper" the "creeper" is a green monster with 4 legs and a tall torso. their soul pourpose in life is to absolutely ruin your day. the only thing they do is walk up to the player and explode. and explosions can cause damage to not only the player but to the world around it, meaning that if your working on your building and a creeper walks by, not only will you have to be respawning you'll have a new gaping hole in the side of your building. I never really understood them they are what they are. The other thing i'm going to correct is the graphical style. yes the textures are low res. but it makes it all the more cool. it shows that you do not need hi-end graphics to make something look beautiful!

And as for the Massive balls. well that's simply him showing off his accomplishment. to sphere in minecraft is an extremely difficult feat. so i'm not surprised he wishes to show it off. as for the halloween references. ya if it were up to me i would strap them to the back of a burning truck and push it off a cliff for it to be destroyed in a blast of shrapnel and fire.

Hunter: Well i don't actually have much to add, only thing i disagree with is the halloween bit but meh, i just see it as the time when all the shops put out more candy. but i noticed he didn't touch on the had drawn image. me being an artist i will tell you this now, if a child drew THAT. then that's actually REALLY impressive. from an artistic standpoint not from any amount of it being appropriate. but from that standpoint i'm going to have to say that it's extremely unlikely that a child drew that.

Breaking the game down though. its a sandbox. you can explore the land and construct houses and small towns to your hearts content. harvesting the local resources and making your own, and of course, mining. go into a cave and fight monsters such as skeletons and zombies and the dreaded creeper. make it out alive and you'll be stacked with an inventory full of ore to smelt in your furnace back home to make new armor and weapons!

there are a lot of features, like farming, mining, horseback riding, taming an animal and making it your pet, and even fishing and boating. There is even a special mineral in the game called "Redstone" which mimics real life circuitry, allowing player to construct COMPUTERS if they wish, and if they have way too much time on their hands.

Now, Sony a multi-billion dollar company that published a version of Minecraft their console profits it and facilitates the distribution of it admits what we all knew. That playing Minecraft is a danger to children. When asked why they refused to allow users of their console to interact with users of competitor's consoles, Sony gave a response that should be both enlightening and troubling for people everywhere who continue to be in denial about the dangers of Minecraft

If Minecraft really was no risk to children, as many people claim, then why does Sony see the need to prevent Minecraft players from interacting with those on the PC or Nintendo Switch? Don't get me wrong, I'm not sticking up for Sony. They're bad for letting people play Minecraft too. If they really wanted to protect children, they'd ban the game altogether, but at least they have the decency to limit the damage to our young ones, unlike Nintendo and Microsoft. Can we once and for all discard the notion that Nintendo is doing anything to "protect" our children as the Eurogamer representative falsely claims?
