Let's clarify some things first before you make yourself look even more stupid.

1) Zeitgeist has been rejected by both Christian and secular historians as being mostly fabricated and unsubstantiated. Yes, even the atheists admit that the research is shoddy at best and no serious debater would use Zeitgeist to bolster their argument. Read up on it.

I find this to be incorrect the bible is not entirely applicable to modern times. In order to apply it entirely you must take some passages out of context and use others loosely much like the constitution which will forever be an amoeba of ever changing laws and rules. I am a confirmed follower of the Lutheran faith and have read the King James bible in its entirety a few times. If we are all truly equals in the eyes of god then I don't see why it should matter whether a soldier is homosexual or not. Is that man/woman giving their life so that you can sit at home and bash them?, I think not. They are fighting for our country and our freedom. If you have a problem with this then enlist and secure your own freedom. If you have served your country then god bless but others who aren't followers of your religion or mine still deserve the same treatment. By condemning others to your "hell" you have condemned yourselves. Not everyone follows the bible so closely and such intolerance of these individuals is disturbing. We are all here and we all hear in different ways. No one practice shall ever be truly correct.

I'm sorry you have such one sided views and I wish you the best as I know it is what your religion dictates. Also I didn't say that the bible wasn't applicable. I said that it's not entirely applicable please be more thorough when you read. As you know we all have rights and as long as you are made of flesh and bone you deserve to have them no matter your orientation. Without such simple things as these my practice and yours may not even have existed in the US and we might all be under the rule of the catholic church. I'm not trying to say your religion is wrong but I am trying to say that just because you see something one way. As for your lude sodomy comment well like I said go defend your own rights on the battlefield as it's not some one else's place to do for you. I don't disagree with your religion/practices but I do want to say that you need to see both sides of the coin and even if you don't agree you should still take all things into consideration.
