Foolish boy. Much of the Bible is meant for parents to teach kids and for kids to read and follow (see Proverbs 4:20; Deuteronomy 6:1-9). Stop stalling. Being "almost" a follower of God is NOT enough (see Acts 26:28).

ok, your passages only proved that parents should teach their kids the bible, which mine have. nowhere their did it say kids should read the bible before they understand it.

i love believing the fact that if I'm good, i will go to heaven. i strive to be a good person. I'm sure I'm more christian than 90% of the people in my school. but where did you get 99% wont make it?

Well, even an episcopalian must admit that, according to the Holy Bible, anyone who is has not accepted Jesus into their heart is doomed to Hell.

So, using that as our starting point, we can agree that over history only a small portion of all of the souls on earth would qualify.

For argument's sake, let's say only one in five people were Christian in the whole world at any given time, the rest being heathens doomed for eternal Hell fire. So, that means 80% of humanity, the non-Christians, are automatically doomed to Hell.

Then, we can start weeding out the false Christians. Like Catholics, for example (idol worship, Christ on earth as the pope, etc.). Now we're up to 85% of humanity going to Hell. And so on.

There is much chaff, but little wheat (Matthew 3:11-12).

I have given you two passages that indicate that only a select few will make it into Heaven, there are many others that further define who shall ascend and who shall descend.

It is ignored by the vast majority of humanity; all of that majority will burn for it.

That's why I follow my 1611 King James Bible with no apologies. Praise God!

most of the topics on this site don't relate to their orginal topics you people are stupid for turning down people and attacking them when i first got on here i just defended a game and asked for a better explanation after i gave my thoughts
and i was instantly attacked no one has bothered to say anything you people aren't christans and if you are then this whole religion is....why waste my time you will attack me the same so just read this last part


as far i know in your religion you want to convert people---i am assuming this is correct.
