Why would we NOT take it as relliable information?

Multiple reasons, dear sinner.

1. In fact, the burden of proof is not on us. You're just trying to shift it - a common rhetorical device in the gamer/reddit/4Chan communities, where people are unaware of argumentation and fallacies. The person making the claim (that is you, as you introduced the "official site" as proof) is the one with the burden. On addition, negative statements (e.g., this vaccine will not work) are generally not the ones with the burden (the absolute negative cannot be proven) but the positive statements (I have a great vaccine and it works - that's what you need to prove: The efficacy, not the inefficacy). An example of such a statement is: They are reliable. Even Jesus knows that the burden is on you.

2. That said, I'll humor you. Reason 2. Conflict of interest. The makers of this silly but utterly harmful game have in their interest to keep it popular due to financial reasons and due to the prestige that this game brings them. In contrast, God has no conflict of interest as he is Omnipotent (Revelation 19:6). In addition, He is always reliable. If a stupid game presents issues that may possibly oppose God, they must be false.

3. I'll humor you some more. As this game is not of the Bible, it is unnecessary, and not only unnecessary but it contains fantasies, even imagination. Imagination is not reliable as it alienates people from God.

Romans 1:21

Imagination = vanity -> darkening of the heart -> no hope for Salvation® ->

Q.E.D. Still, as item (1) stated, the absence of reliability was not something that needed proving. This is a Christian Forum, where the Word of God rules, and it is the task of those who wish to falsify it will have to provide the evidence. This means you.

Dear Person,

Would the company openly admit that its only goal is to destroy everything that Jesus finds precious and beautiful? Why should we (or you) take their "official" stand as reliable? If it contradicts the Bible, we find no reason to trust them. Hence, it is totally unnecessary to read their ramblings (and I shall not do so). You may not be lying, you can be sincere but misguided (which will not Save® you; 2 Thessalonians 2:11).
