I am aghast at the people who suggest that the scripture only prohibits male masturbation. While it may not specifically state anything, the Bible clearly prohibits indecent thoughts, which are essential to masturbation. Even a woman thinking about her own sex organs without thinking of the marital duties that she must fulfill are clearly indecent. How could a woman masturbate without thinking about it at some point? The thoughts defile and damn her. As well, she is tempted by pleasure not by God, but by Satan-

"14 But every man is tempted , when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed . 15 Then when lust hath conceived , it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death." [James 1:14-15]

That is all that needs to be said on this subject.
