    Harry Potter, the final chapter. protest and get it banned!

    This is the witch, J.K. Rowlings, final attempt to drag millions of children into Hell. This is indeed the final chapter, and we need to make a final stand against Satan! Forbid your children from seeing this movie. Confiscate all your
    children's communication devices and only allow them to use them in your presence so they can't discuss the film.
    I have heard at the finish they mock Jesus.
    There are threads that talk about the books and films here already.
    This thread is only about protesting and getting this film banned.
    I'm organizing a march in my community. I have written boycott letters to advertisers at the local cinema also. The Christian community is ready to fight to save the children. What are you doing to fight this menace?

      Hi,

      No offence intended as I'm genuinely curious and I'm learning about Christianity. But what do you find sinful about the Harry Potter series?
      I actually read the final book and I don't remember it having anything that mocked Jesus (well, that I noticed at least).

          I'll let you hear what the Bible says about Harry Potter:

          Exodus 22: [18] Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

          Deuteronomy 18: [          10] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

          2 Kings 9:           [22] And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

          2 Chronicles 33: [          6] And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger

              According to the Satanic Harry Potter Series, The mention of "Muggles" (Non Magical Humans) Makes me wonder, Are they still Satan Loving Heathens?

If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

                                  Now, why not read just ONE Book that will get you into Heaven? You'll find things like this:

                                          This is a book series were the wizards are divided against the "good" wizards who are "nice" because they ignore the rest of humanity whom they dismiss as "muggels" and the "bad" wizards who want to oppress the rest of the world. The won't crush the rest of us like bugs, such benevolence. The stories are nothing more than a mass exercise in self glorification at the the expense of your fellow man. Show me an example in the series were a "good" wizard uses his magic to deal with any of the real evil in the world like disease, suffering, injustice, famine, the estate tax or natural disaster.

                                          As Christians we are supposed to follow the example of Christ and help other people like He did. Beyond helping the sick, poor Christ also confronted evil people like the Tax and Spend Roman Empire by try to get them to change their ways - not murder them.

                                          Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

                                                      But if the children have good, upstanding christian parents, they should be able to control their children and personally ban the movies/books from their household, correct? And those parents who can't are the ones going to hell, to be punished for bad parenting. There's no need to ban it for the whole community. It's like a self cleaning system

                                                          The problem, dear, is that inviting spiritual demons into the community at large gives them legal authority to wreak havoc on everyone. Because I am a True Christian™ lady, I have empathy for my fellow persons and don't wish to see them tormented by spirits and demons. Further, should this demonic infestation get out of control, it just might inspire the Spirit of God to swoop in and "clean-house" as it were. You might remember such house-cleaning as Hurricane Katrina, the Indonesian tsunami, the Haitian earthquake, and the like.
