The Bible tells us to be very careful about what we fill our minds with. It tells us what to think and what not to think. If I didn't know any better, I'd say it was almost as if God was trying to keep something from us. But God is the source of all knowledge (Prov 2:6), so it makes sense that if you want to be a knowledgeable person, you'd just think about what God tells you to think about.
