Hello I'm Rev. Sanborn I'm new here. I love reading all the posts in this forum. I can easily spend hours reading all your words.
Well let me first start off by saying I love reading and watching the Twilight saga!!!! As far as Bella being a "good role model" MOST CERTAINLY NOT. She is an evil temptress whore in the movies and in real life. She and Robert have been living tog in sin (real life) and she cheated on him with her producer from the new snow white movie she's in. In the the books and movies she kisses Jacob!!! While still with Edward let me remind you. So role model? no way sorry. :-) keep up all the posts!!!

The Bible tells us that when we are dead, we are unknowing (Ecclesiastes 9:5).

Revelation 20-22 tells us about Judgment.

God will resurrect all the dead from that unknowing state, into immortal bodies.

Then, He will cast all sinners and nonbelievers into His Lake of Fire and burn them alive for all time.

Now, we've had plenty of atheists, when confronted with this fact, ask why God won't just leave them dead instead of resurrecting them, just to torment them forever. The atheists say, "How could a loving God do that?"

The answer, of course, is that God hates the sin . . . AND the sinner.

He isn't resurrecting homosexuals, fornicators, adulterers, liars, Buddhists, atheists, Muslims, Jews, and everyone else who didn't follow all of His commands to teach them a lesson; He's doing it to torment them!

Since this got necro-bumped by our pet atheist, I thought I would mention the one thing that bothers me about the whole series.

Myers is a Mormon, and there are a lot of Mormon overtones in the book. Now I'm the first to admit that the Mormons are probably going to suffer a "so close yet so far" speech before being sent to Hell. If it wasn't for that silly woo-woo belief that they're going to become Gods of their own planets and coffee is evil and the magic bullet stopping underwear (no it's not Kevlar). Oh and their wanna-be pope and extra books.

Other than that, I think they're actually pretty close. But I would be worried about something in the books convincing my children to run off to the Mormon church.
