If I had regularly and thoroughly looked over my sister's chest area, I would not have noticed any change, because puberty goes quite a few years, and little by little, people change in physical appearance. So in fact, if I had looked regularly, then I would have noticed pretty much no change every single time.
The fact is that I've only recently noticed that, because that day, we had moral education at school, and the teacher had talked about puberty. So I finally noticed what had changed about my sister because of that lesson.
So before you accuse me of something, think about all possibilities. Your lack of basic logic and common sense sickens me.

I think you would understand if you actually read the story behind all those posts. In short, me and Dr Niles are having a small tussle about 'maturity'. I was only bringing up an example of maturity. Maybe I use the wrong example, but point is, I do not want to bring attention to my sister at all. I just wanted to say that teenagers are still maturing, and are not completely immature.
I'm still glad that someone's concerned for me. Makes a good change among the threats of an 'eternal fire' grilling my arse. Thank you.

No sir, not proud at all. This was actually before I became a committed Christian to our Lord Jesus. At the time though, I was oblivious to the little schemes the Devil uses. To me, they were just cards no different than baseball, just some batting averages and a stick of chewing gum in the cards. I'm just thankful that Jesus always is on guard and looking out for the little sheep. Damage control wise, things turnt out rather well with my daughter, and it looks as though she'll be off to a Christian college next year! Thank you Jesus!

I found this forum after I was talking with a friend of mine at work the other day. He was talking about this preacher with a mullet on youtube who goes on and on about how Pokemon is defiling children with it's satanic powers...and although I've never seen the show Pokemon, I'm having trouble believing that satan had anything to do with it. Sure, God hides a little bit of satan here and there to test our true faith. But that's God, He works in mysterious ways and tests faith on a regular. Everything, EVERYTHING..even the people who make the Pokemonsters, were made by God!
I think it's incredible that this guy's daughter was able to be tutored in Mathematics from this simple card game.

I however, am APPALLED by some of the things that I've read on this site. I don't understand how someone can claim to be a "True Christian TM" and then sit on this site and JUDGE, JUDGE, JUDGE! And so harshly!

I've seen things like "Living with married homos in Godless England" - JUDGEMENT!
"You should be ashamed to have allowed your children to learn math from this abomination" - JUDGEMENT!
"Girls aren't good at math!" - BROAD JUDGEMENT!
"Like us on Facebook - or burn in hell." No. Just no.
"God hates 'phags,' God hates you for your lust.." JUDGEMENT! God hates NOBODY! God loves us, and we're all imperfect.

I can't understand why people have to take something from the Bible and skew it to make their own persecution against man acceptable!

I'm not gay. And I'm not as Christian as some of you claim to be..but..

I do believe that it is up to GOD, and only GOD, not you, not ANY Christian, Catholic, Muslim or Baptist to decide the fate of his fellow man.

Maybe we should all look around at what God created and admire the beauty of the world instead of pointing out everything God did wrong.

"Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 5:10
And what was the one about "He who has no sin may cast the first stone?" Everyone has sinned.

Why can't people just be good to other people? Isn't that what Christianity is all about?

If you love Jesus as much as you claim then you SHOULD be judging people.

2nd Timothy 4:1-2 "I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine."

I'm not here to troll, I am simply here as a teenager who grew up watching Pokemon.
I am a devout Christian and I have been all throughout my life. I have Jesus to thank for how smart I am and God to thank for all else.
I must disagree with the arguments made here in the fact that, if God were unhappy with Pokemon He, would have taken action thusly, as God has done always.
In the Lord's Prayer we pray "and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil" in this we ask God to bring is away from evil and sin.

I ask this, if I repent every day for my sins which may include watching and playing Pokemon, can I still be guaranteed salvation?

Well, then, start a thread here and tell us what church you go to, what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.

You seem to be saying that if God really hated Pokemon, we should have seen the results of that in the real world: He would have destroyed it by now. But that's not the way God works. The Lord is nothing if not patient. Although "God is angry with the wicked every day" (Ps 7:11b), He endures the wicked for the sake of the righteous.

Rom 9:22-23 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: and that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

In other words, we won't necessarily see any evidence of a God who hates the wicked. We just have to believe that He is angry with them and is just holding back for our sake.

True Christians(tm) are perfect.

1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.


We cannot sin. At first, you might think this would make it redundant to ask God to deliver us from evil. But God God doesn't hear the prayers of sinners; He only hears the prayers of the righteous (Jas 5:16). So in order for God to hear your prayer that you be delivered from evil, you have to be perfect. Then He will answer your prayer and deliver you from evil.
