I would appreciate it if someone could please clarify as to what makes you think you can act like God and judge others? It is the Lord’s duty to judge others and declare whether they are damned, not yours. As for this whole “emo band” My Chemical Romance, I would love to see a thorough explanation as how this band is “emo,” as well as how this band has “destroyed” your life personally and how it is they condemn religion.
As for the music video, if you had done your research prior to this ridiculous thread, you would have discovered that the entire record is a real concept about a cancer patient who loses his battle and like previously mentioned, death comes to him in the most comforting form for him. This happens to be a parade as it was the patient’s most vivid memory of when he was a child. Other songs on the record actually support the belief that if you are a bad person you will be exiled to hell, as later during the record it is mentioned that the patient had done some terrible things in his life and as a consequence he is sent to hell. Having listened to the record numerous times, I can assure you that any suggestions relating to the idea that “religion is bad or wrong” is not present within the album. The record is entirely real and is there for entertainment purposes, like a movie or novel.
Hopefully, this has helped clear up any confusion.

Zechariah 3:7 "Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by."

I Kings 3:9-13 "Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?"

But other than those quotes you're totally right. Except even the verse that you phoney-baloney, salad bar Christians (that only go to youth group because of the CUTE BOYS) like to use as evidence that we shouldn't judge doesn't even mean "you shouldn't judge!"

Matthew 7:1 "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Jesus is not saying you shouldn't judge, he is saying you shouldn't judge if you are hypocrite or aren't prepared to be judged yourself.

If I wanted to, I could start quoting things from the Bible and interpreting them however I wanted to prove my point (as many of you have), but I'm not going to.
If you're trying to speak for God, why would you say that all "emos" (which My Chemical Romance are NOT), are going to hell, are devil worshipers, or fags? Would Jesus really want you to be spreading such outright HATE? If you're really under the impression that Jesus chose you as his spokesperson, spread his love and his gospel. Inform people about the bible, don't just hide behind your computers and call people names.
When I originally read this discussion, I got sick to my stomach at how you people were treating the ones who came on here to try to inform you about a topic you are clearly ignorant about. I thought about the discussion boards for fans of My Chemical Romance that I've read and I've NEVER seen anyone post anything about Christianity that was half as hateful as what I read on here about this band. I thought, "these people dare call themselves Christians?!" But honestly, I don't know how you were raised, where you grew up, or who decided to teach you how to be a Christian. And it's because I don't KNOW you, that I won't judge you. I don't hate you and I don't want you all to go to hell. I just hope that you all can find some love within you, and try to show that to the rest of the humans you share this planet with than the hate you've been spreading. The people you call "devil worshipers" and "fags" have shown more love, after you have attacked them, than you have.
Please think about the things I've said before you quote something out of context and call me something horrible. I'd much rather we all tried to have a mature discussion about this stuff than have everyone calling each other names and remaining ignorant.
