My Honest guess is the guitarist himself is christian and wanted to express himself say he was christian. MCR is not and evil band. You guys should look at the rap industry if you are really trying to help culture, rap and "hip hop" is degradeing society itself.

I do agree a good portion of MCR's fan base and most emos do alot of this stuff for attention, i.e. cutting, drugs. They all they claim the've had horrible lives and act like they've had it bad. Ive been through foster care and seen my share of messed up stuff and i still say i have a good life, no matter how bad it gets theres always someone thats got it worse.

But if you get past all the annoying emo MCR dosnt sound that bad.

I listen to My Chemical Romance and I'm Christian. I don't wanna kill my self, anymore. You now why? Because of them. They don't advice people to kill them selfs. They don't want it. They want people to 'think' that is what they are about.

You need to analyze both the words and music and investigate the members of the band, crew and management to find the true intentions. The DoF does this for every 'artist' to ensure quality and family oriented wholesomeness. MCR is all about going AGAINST Jesus and God. They want the winy emos to cut themselves. Band management are owners of the largest producers of child size coffins in the US. The 'musicians' are card carrying Satanists. You need to inspect that body defacing (the human body is Gods art, to attempt to improve on it is a sin) 'tattoo' a bit closer.

No, you know nothing about MCR. What they're about, who they are. Gerard has seen people who cut? Do you want to know his response to those kids that he saw? He was shocked and sad.

He -used- to be a druggy, he came over his addiction and hopes he can help people stay away from that path.
