The reason I asked is I assume it's some liberal, fluffy-bunny church where your Bible study pretty much consists of using white-out on your Bibles.

Warning them by telling them they're going to hell in a cruel, un-kind way is hate. Jesus didn't want us to hate, He wanted us to LOVE one another.

He said for us to love our neighbor. Now, who is our neighbor?

God dosen't want us to judge one another it's wrong, and it's HIS place to do so.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Show me where in the Bible it says we have no right to judge one another. Book/chapter/verse please. While the Bible forbids hypocritical judgment (Matthew 7:1-5), it is not against judgment in itself. In fact, several verses compel us to judge one another.

Proverbs 31:9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

1st Corinthians 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
1st Corinthians 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

What's wrong with Catholics? Yes some of their beliefs are wrong, but they still know there's a God, i'm not saying that'll get them into Heaven, but it's a start.

That's What God says about Judging (:

Contrary to popular belief, Matthew 7:1-5 is not a prohibition against all judgment. These verses are a warning against hypocritical judgment, not judgment in itself. Jesus is saying we cannot judge others when we are guilty of the same sin.

1Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

This basically says if you judge others, you will be judged accordingly. This makes sense. Of course, I can judge others and I welcome Christ to judge me, because I am free of sin (see 1 John 3:6-9). He can judge me all He wants.

We True Christians™ are perfect. Therefore we all welcome God to judge us!

3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

This means hypocrisy. How can you judge another man for cheating on his wife when you do the same? A "mote" is a small speck of wood, while a "beam" is a large chunk of wood. Jesus is speaking in analogy here. How can you see the wood (sin) in your brother's eye when you have a larger one in your own?

4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Again, hypocrisy. Jesus is saying that hypocrisy clouds judgment. If you live in sin, you are not a True Christian™ and therefore are not granted the right to judge. You are filthy, disgusting, undeserving unsaved scum whose opinions do not matter. Jesus makes that very clear.

5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Now read this last part very closely. This tells us that we can judge others! Jesus is saying to remove your own sin first, then you can judge others.

How can anyone say this is a prohibition against all judging, unless they were woefully ignorant of the Bible? Jesus makes it crystal clear that we cannot judge if we are hypocrites, and that to do righteous judgment instead (as True Christians™).

You are a false "Christian" because you attribute to Jesus thing He never taught. For example:

MATTHEW 10
34 Thinke not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Notice how Jesus does NOT say that there will be discord among certain reprobates, or that some people won't like what He teaches and start showing off or something. He says:

1 He will actively cause these things to happen

2 Not only that, but the REASON why He came to Earth IS TO DO JUST THAT - verse 35: I am come to set a man at variance.. is an expression of intent, which means that He came SO THAT this would happen. (Of course there were other reasons too)

3 check out verse 34b: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

I will be generous and assume that you know what the word "not" means.

Do you know what a sword is? Evidently not, so here is a picture for you:


A sword is used to maim or kill other people.

1 Grip the handle firmly
2 Approach the person whom you wish to maim or kill
3 Smite them with the edge of the sword. NOTE - this will cut them
4 If they try to run away, chase them, hitting them frequently with the edge of your sword. Try to cut off their head, or make them fall over.
5 If they fall over, push the sharp pointy end of the sword into their chest. Do this several times in case you miss their heart the first time.

It is possible that the other person will also have a sword. Make sure that they do not hit you with their sword. A good way to avoid this is to creep up behind them VERY QUIETLY and quickly push your sword into their neck.

The sword illustrated is a Roman sword of a type that Jesus would have been familiar with.
PLEASE NOTE CAREFULLY: Jesus came SO THAT this would happen. It is not something that happens as a sort of accidental consequence of His coming.

THIS IS NOT A PARABLE. When Jesus uses a parable to help explain something it is always announced (in this case by Matthew, and I will stick with him so that the style is consistent)

MATTHEW 13:3 And hee spake many things vnto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went foorth to sow..

So a sword is used for chopping people up, killing them, or injuring them (for example by chopping off an arm or something, or digging out an eye).

MATTHEW 10 records for us what Jesus told His apostles about the mission they were embarking upon. There are no parables, just facts about what the apostles would encounter, how they were to conduct themselves and some information for them about Jesus' mission on Earth. The passage about His bringing a sword is entirely overt in its meaning and not amenable to any interpretation. It is very plain speaking.

IT IS NOT THE SAME AS WHAT YOU SAY. I don't know where you get your information about Jesus from, but it is not from The Bible. That is why you are going to Hell. If your father has been teaching you the rubbish you've posted here, then he is going to Hell, too.

Whoever taught you the lies you seem to be relying on to support your world view has indeed committed a grave offence against you. At His baptism, The Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus and inspired His misistry. Denial of what Jesus really said denies that inspiration, and is punished appropriately, by God, in His Perfect Love.

Whoever has instructed you in the past hates God, hates Jesus and hates you. They are going to Hell.
