This is serious, folks. We defenders of marriage can no longer argue that we're simply protecting democracy from unelected liberal activist judges. We need to work on our next argument for the preservation of marriage, or Vermonters will be forced to marry sheep, and the satanic lie that homers deserve the special privilege of equality will soon spread to the other 49 states — unless of course this is a sign that Our Lord will rapture us by COB today.

D.C. Council votes to recognize gay marriages
Move sets up possible showdown with Congress

The D.C. City Council Tuesday voted unanimously, 12-0, to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states.

The city already has a domestic partner registry that affords many marriage rights to gay couples and out-of-state married gays are currently recognized as domestic partners.

Before becoming law, the measure requires a second vote next month and approval by Congress.

Those of us in proper opposite-sex marriages will soon no longer be safe anywhere.

This is getting out of hand. How many disasters is GOD going to have to send to let these states know they are railing against His design of marriage?

With four (FOUR!) states having legalized queer marriage, that leaves only a mere 46 states in which True Christian marriages are safe!

I suppose I ought to be used to the persecution by now, but it's still so hard to deal with sometimes. Only JESUS can make me feel better.

I looked up 313 AD and the only significant event i found was that Constatine issued the Edict of Milan which ended all the persecution of Christianity in the Roman Empire. Just saying.
