Re: Bunch of Richard Dawkins Quotes (Was 'Pro-Jesus?')

Excuse me, I thought I made it blatantly obvious that I was being sarcastic!! Should've added this dude- ! Aaah well...

I have a sound knowledge of many religions (muslim, open theology, universalism, christadelphianism, buddhist AND SO ON), but mainly christianity. Please don't patronise me so.

Just to confirm: w00t for sarcasm

Sure you do.. And you were only sarcastic.. Right.
And the Bible tells us to patronize women, because you are inferior to us men and easily deceived. (1 Timothy 2:12-14)
If you really knew anything about Christianity, you'd surely know that.

Re: Bunch of Richard Dawkins Quotes (Was 'Pro-Jesus?')

Even reflecting back to my days as a Christian, people like you made me flinch at thought. You have heard of this thing the bible mentions- Judgement Day? You think your god is proud of you, teaching non christians like this? When I was a christian, I was encouraging towards non christians. Helped them come to faith. Rather like jesus did. I read his teachings, practiced what I preached. Prayed constantly for those in help. I never dispised anyone, welcomed everyone to the christian faith, no matter what there past was. No matter what.

Maybe you should consider taking advice from my past? Evidently, you don't like my present.

I should take advice from how you "preached" in your past when you turned out like this?
No, thank you. But thanks for your "offer".

But we are helping and teaching people, and we know that LYING to them (as you obviously did) isn't helping anyone.

God will condemn most of the world to hell, FACT. (Mark 16:16)
God hate and wants sinners dead, FACT. (Psalm 5:4-6)
          God welcomes everyone, YES.
(well, ALMOST everyone, those who blaspheme the holy spirit, for instance, they will never be forgiven.)
But God wants us to worship HIM: and not some fantasy god created in one's own image.

God is a demanding God, who demands obedience.
Also, YOU WOMEN AREN'T EVEN ALLOWED TO TEACH, BECAUSE YOU ARE EASILY DECEIVED! (1 Timothy 2:14)
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
          1 Timothy 2:12

You know if this mouthy little pervert tries to pass off any more material from Dawkins, or any other source, without giving due credit, then he's going to go get some serious infraction points. Next step would be moderation.

What you are doing is immoral, wrong, illegal and thievery. Which is to say par for the course when filthy atheists are at work.
            Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

SS, it's interesting how you quote stuff I never said. "Thank" "you" "very" "much".

Haha, do you approve of a group of people overflowing with the holy spirit going into town with their guitars and praising "the lord jesus christ" in song with every breath they take? In public, remember. All is welcome to the Kingdom of god, right?

And it is you men who are also easily decieved. You fell for what woman said in the garden of eden, right? Shouldn't you have known any better than to listen to a deceitful woman?

We didn't know back then yet, did we? That experience, however, has taught us not to trust women.

Are you allowed up this late from your daddy by the way?

You don't know what quoting means do you?
"" doesn't always mean it's a quote.. And you used it yourself below, when you said
                  "the lord jesus christ"
Are you quoting me there? because I haven't said it either.. (I capitalise Jesus & Christ for instance.)
                  You silly hypocrite.

No, since Adam hadn't eaten from the tree of knowledge yet, remember?
So no, he didn't know any better.

Praise! Flinching at thought is a very healthy thing for a Christian to do. Just think, if you'd done a little more flinching and a little less thinking, Satan wouldn't have been able to ruin you like this.
You have heard of this thing the bible mentions- Judgement Day? You think your god is proud of you, teaching non christians like this?
What, like He commands us to? It seems reasonable to assume He is, yes.
When I was a christian, I was encouraging towards non christians. Helped them come to faith. Rather like jesus did.
Did you also compare yourself to Jesus a lot? That's one of the distinguishing features of real Christians, you see: we tend not to blaspheme.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Re: Bunch of Richard Dawkins Quotes (Was 'Pro-Jesus?')

Surely you all understand what a "christian" is? A person who follows jesus, right? His teachings included, yes? A person who strives to be christ-like, oui? That is not blaspheming. This is: I deny the existence of every god every society has ever believed in- including god the father, son and holy spirit. Get it? Here's the definition of "blasphemy" by www.religioustolerance.org - "Swearing in the name of God, denying the existence of God, saying evil things about God, asserting incorrect beliefs about God, etc. One religion's affirmation of their God is another religion's blasphemy about their God." Hope that's cleared it up.

Getting closer to topic- when I was a christian I didn't blaspheme. Following the teachings of jesus isn't blaspheming. Don't you recall this- http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...uke%2010:25-37? Eh? You gotta walk the walk you talk. "love thy neighbour as thyself"... Yeah, so much for that. So far 99% oof my time, hatred has been displayed towards me. The acception being from "Draven". Jesus would never have called me "vile", a "pervert", so on. And I generally believed all christians were christ-like. Well, as much with Communism, the reality strays from theory in chritianity.

Jesus' boots? He wore sandals. As did everyone back then. Lol. Anyways, be it boots, sandels, bare feet, I wouldn't want to lick them. If I was told to, I'd refuse.

Yes, there earth is divided over christianity, in family it's mother against daughter, father against son. I know. [sarcasm]Bravo for noticing.[/sarcasm] It's even evident here.

But- "monkey worhiper"- ?!?!? What? I don't worship anything or anyone. Not myself, not money, not anything. Let alone a monkey. If god truely does exist, he'd be sickened by both our behaviour.

So much for self control, eh? Love? Kindness? Goodness? Gentleness? [sarcasm]Oh yeah, plenty of each are being displayed through you.[/sarcasm].

Did you even bother to read your own quote?

Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
                            Luke 10:36-37

Did you come here to be merciful and kind? Would you ever help us out?
No you wouldn't, and you only came here to mock our beliefs and be evil..
And yet we STILL try to Save you: THAT'S TRUE LOVE.
If you are going to quote the Bible (please use the KJV1611 in the future) then atleast know some of it..

By this we know that we love the children of God,
When we love God, and keep his commandments.
                            1 John 5:2

^ As you can see here, you have no idea whatsover what love really is..
If we don't rebuke you and want you to follow the path of righteousness, then we actually hate you.
Common sense would tell you so, but more importantly, the Holy Bible tells us so too!

Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart:
Thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
                            Leviticus 19:17

As proven here, if you don't rebuke your neighbour, you hate him. Period.

The acception being from "Draven". Jesus would never have called me "vile", a "pervert", so on. And I generally believed all christians were christ-like. Well, as much with Communism, the reality strays from theory in chritianity.
You confuse your own fantasies with Jesus..

Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
                            Matthew 23:33

You obviously don't know the first thing about Jesus teachings, so stop pretending to..
                            You're only embarrassing yourself.

If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
A foolish woman is clamorous: She is simple, and knoweth nothing.

I don't have to follow the teaches to know them. There are different types of love, you know that, right? Platonic, familial, romantic, erotic, puppy and sacrificial are just to name a few... Your jesus displayed sacrificial love by dieing for us, as christians believe. I, however, display no love whatsoever to a god. And don't intend to.

                                No there aren't.
God decides what's love and what's not.
                                Not any humans.

And it's besides the point, the point is that you don't know the teachings:
You claim we are without the love we are commanded by God to have, and I proved you wrong and uneducated.
                                Case closed.

And that's why you're going to hell.
This silly teen rebellion you got going on to get daddys attention will lead nowhere except straight to hell..
