I was hoping to find a site where Christians could help others with problems. Now I'm a bit confused. Are the people in charge of these forums even moderating? I mean, I really can't understand the purpose of this thread whatsoever. Fact: Only flaming homos use Mac. Well sir, provide some statistical evidence and I may agree. I am Christian, I have been for years. I believe in God and the bibles values, but I also believe there is a movement of Christians taking the word of the bible to extremes. The bible was written ages ago, with many and more re-writes and translations. Now, to say the exact original meaning has been conveyed across all of these iterations would be foolish. The phrase "Lost in Translation" has quite a bit of merit here. The main values are great, but the literals are not. The sheer amount of bigotry shown here really makes me wonder who is really the enemy of god? How dare you condemn individuals for having different beliefs than your own. Regardless if someone has been saved or not, they are still human. And a lot of these "Doomed" individuals display a greater understanding of humanity and general kindness than the so-called Saviors who immediately condemn and censor anything not within their own belief system. If i were the link a story about a priest having statutory rape charges it would be immediately removed. This is an inherent problem as freedom of speech is the right of any human. I digress.... I believe this post will be deleted which is fine. But I hope the few individuals who read this before then can gain some knowledge about censorship and bigotry. It is rampant in radical religious individuals that seem to be all over this board. I came to this place hoping for something besides the stereotypical close-minded Christians but have not found one. I am christian and level headed - why is it so hard for others to do that?

Not everyone is willing to ignore vast swaths of the Bible like you are. We treat every word of the Bible as a gem, equally indispensible. You suggest that the Bible is somehow imperfect. We maintain that it is the Word of God©, every word of it. We know that our translation is perfect. You doubt the authenticity of the KJV1611 because you doubt the power of God. The KJV1611 is the most widely circulated Bible on the planet, and God does not deceive His children. So apologize to us, and apologize to God, for your blasphemy.

God is the one who condemns people. Just because you were alerted to your impending doom on this site doesn't mean that the internets damned you. God does that. Take this as a warning.

I wouldn't consider myself a troll though others may. I came here as a christian looking for a good forum for other Christians with noble beliefs and instead I find bigotry and censorship rampant. Of course I will voice my comments because as a christian it is my duty to guide others to the light.

Ironically, you all have freedom of speech to defend your right the have this forum. Who am I to say your beliefs are wrong? But do I not have the same said freedom to express my beliefs in Christianity?
I am Christian and Republic which is all the necessary requirements to have freedom of speech on these forums. Should you censor me because my Christianity beliefs are not aligned with yours? Sure if you want, it's your forum.

Attacking my use of forum functions is childish. Obviously it's much easier to quote once than many times to answer your points but if it seems like i was being deceptive please note my text is in red. It's a common use of quotes on forums and have seen it many times.....

How can you possibly know the translation was perfect? That's a bold statement.
I do not doubt the power of god, I doubt the power of humans translating the word of god over 1000s of years.
There is a simple child's game called telephone which is a great example of what happens when information is continually passed on. Not to mention that 1000s of years ago they did not have the technology to make exact copies.
Secondly, even if it is a literal word for word translation the book is 1000s of years old with antiquated beliefs that are considered horrendous by today's standard.
It seems like you would like to go back to the dark ages when church was law, only whites had power, and only white men at that.
I'm a white male myself and would hate for the world to revert so far.
