2000 years ago it might have been acceptable to kill someone for being gay, but in this day and age we are supposed to be more enlightened, and that is NOT an acceptable way to view the world.
If you lot seriously believe in heaven, then I assume you must believe in hell and if you carry on wishing death on people like this, then I sincerely hope you all end up in the very hell you have created which cause these suffering people to take their own lives.

I am treating people exactly like I want to be treated myself. Also, there is no need to guess about or make up stuff about what God wants from us. It's all in the Holy Bible. Figuring it out is just a matter of reading a book. God couldn't have made it any simpler.

Sweetheart...I'm not talking about the man being murdered. I fully understand he committed suicide. I took the time to read the article so I got my facts straight. I'm talking about the idiots on here who wanted to kill the man themselves for being gay. THAT'S murder.

Believe me, my love. I study English at University. I think I've got a pretty advanced grasp on the language and I do know what I hypocrite is. I do believe the correct terminology is: the practice of claiming to have higher standards or more noble beliefs than is the case.

So putting the term into conext: The commandment 'thou shalt not kill' is meant to be followed according to 'God'. But there's people on here who say that they wanted to stone this poor guy to death. That therefore makes them hypocrites because they are not practising what they preach.

Woah. Since WHEN did enlightenment mean that we'd all start fucking animals and shit in the street?

Enlightenment is the receiving and understanding of knowledge. Therefore it should be common knowledge these days that gay and lesbian people are more open about who they are because it is now understood by society that it should be nothing to ashamed of.
