If a man sodomizes his wife, is he a homosexual?

I've been thinking about this for long, and I cannot think of any reason for why a man would engage in sodomy, either oral or anal, with his wife, if it was not to let homosexual desires out.

Do any of my enlightened brothers have any biblical insight on this to share?

Yes. Gay sex is gay, even when it is done with a women.

Look any woman who would want to be sodomized is some woman who wishes she was man, right? One of those gay men trapped in a woman's body. Vagina or not she still is a gay man.

The answer to this question is not as important as to the question of why this question was asked.

Sodomy is a sin! God destroyed an entire city because they invented it. He burned alive every man, woman, child, sucking infant and animal and leveled all the potentially valuable buildings just to make His point.

When God sent the Israelites to attack the native peoples who occupied the land He wanted to give to the tribes of Israel, He often let the buildings stand. In Sodom, even the buildings were considered tainted. If this doesn't tell a discerning reader how Almightly God feels about sodomy, what does?

God also killed Onan directly when he wasted his seed. ANY misdirection of a man's seed is a sin worthy of capital punishment. God didn't go into specific detail in verse after verse of all the ways that this could be done because He had to fill up the Bible with more important details like which foods to avoid or how many pommels to make for the temple. Also, the begats took up a lot of time.

No man, with any honorable standing before the Lord, would position his member towards Satan's vestibule. It is too horrible to contemplate.

I am so offended by the very thought that I must now cleanse my mind by reading the begats several times in a row.

I think there is some confusion here.

Yes, deliberate Sodomy is a sin. Just like murder is a sin.
But an accidental killing or one ordered by God is not. Accidental Sodomy happens between a man and a woman, even betweeen two men at times. Nobodys fault if it was an accident and not deliberate. I am sure Rev. J. Osborne and Pastor Zeke will back me up on this one.

Golly, I hope there are no "personal apologetics" involved here. I certainly would never get into a situation where I might "accidentally sodomize" a man! And the missionary position, when properly employed, makes the risk of sodomy minimal when sleeping with your wife.

It is painful to ask this, but...

Pray tell, Brother James, have you ever "accidentally sodomized" a man?

While I'm no True Christian, I think I'm capable of answering your question;

The act of sex is only supposed to be done in order give birth to warriors of Christ.

Engaging in sodomy or oral sex will NOT get the woman pregnant, which means that the act is done with the exact same babyless result you'd get if you had sex with a homer.

So if you have sex with your wife with the goal of having the same experience you'd do if you had sex with a homer, you are in fact a sinner, a homosexual and most likely a closet atheist.

This is just my theory, though. I could be wrong.

It is not in the least "painful" for you to ask that question. The only painful thing is to put up with your patent play-acting as you pretend to care in the least about the burning issues that God addresses in His word.

You not only already know the answers to the questions that you pose, but you know where to find the answers to any honest effort to please the Lord God, Jesus Christ.

Read the Bible, child! Or does the lack of white space hurt your eyes?

I will pray that some man of Christ, somewhere, takes the back of his hand to your smirkly little mouth so that when you next open it you will refrain from mocking a fine, gentle, loving Christian man such as Brother James.

I have read the bible, many times, but I do not feel that I am yet mature enough to correctly interpret scripture by myself. I would not want to be misled by Satan on these important issues!

And how does that statement above relate to asking Brother James if he ever accidentally sodomized a man?

You really want to learn about the Bible and not be misled by Satan? Read it word for word and follow the words just as they appear on the page. It really is not that complicated. And one does not need to be "mature" to figure out that when God says to do something, a True Believer does it. And when God says to not do something, a True Believer doesn't do it.

You know, Abraham himself just picked up his knife and walked his son up the hill when God said to do it. He didn't stop to ask God, "Uh, Almightly God, Lord of the Universe, have you ever accidentally asked someone to sacrifice their son to Satan?"

In your case, child, there are such things as stupid questions.
