Native American Tribe Approves Same Sex Marriage

The Suquamish Tribe in Kitsap County, Seattle, has approved same-sex marriage.

The tribal council extended marriage rights to same-sex couples on Monday, the Kitsap Sun reports.

The change was pushed by a Seattle woman who grew up in Kitsap County.

The details from the Sun:

The Tribal Council held a public hearing on the ordinance change in June and formally adopted it in a unanimous vote Monday.
The new law allows the tribal court to issue a marriage license to two unmarried people, "regardless of their sex," if they at least 18 years old and at least one of them is an enrolled member of the Suquamish Tribe.
In 2009 the Coquille Indian Tribe in Coos Bay, Ore., became what many believed to be the first Indian tribe to marry a gay couple, two women from Edmonds, Wash.

Michelle Hansen, Suquamish Tribal attorney, said the Suquamish ordinance does not have effect anywhere else unless that jurisdiction decides to recognize same-sex marriages conducted elsewhere.

You'll also notice in the article they say these aren't the first Indians to do this. Oh no, the so-called "Coquille Indian Tribe" pulled a stunt like this two years ago.

So what you have is a small but vocal minority, moving forward under the cover of darkness as they conspire together to spread this agenda throughout the land. It is a law made for their people, by their people. It doesn't get much more suspicious than that. (And hey, Conflict Of Interest, much? Why should their "tribe" be voting on something they themselves stand to benefit from??)

Friend, I can understand your ignorance and as a result this may have lead to your attack on the good people of landover. But please listen to me, I was like you once, maybe not as unintelligent as you are, but a bit ignorant as to what a real Christian is. Even I, as an ex-cathlick and former drunk, know that messicans are fat and lazy and will only work menial jobs that no true Christian would want to to. Why? Because they can't be bothered to go to school and educate themselves. That is not racism, its a fact. I wish it were that simple, we need laws that prevent them from getting a television in the first place. So many people forget why the TV was invented in the first place, it was always meant for watching church sermons at home for those who were doing missionary work and those who were not able to get to church. If you are not christian there is no reason for you to own a television, that is all there is to it.
I will never forget the last time i watched TV. I was watching a church service and i had to turn it up because i could not hear it over my own singing. I accidently hit the channel up button instead of the volume and went into the kitchen to get some water. When i came back there was this "family show" about a gay man living with two girls. I was horrified so I had to do as any good christian would, I took the TV outside shot it and threw it in the trash. I could not put that filth back in my house and have been affraid to open my home to that kind of perversion again so no more TV.
