So how is this version of Christianity any different than other kinds of Christianity? They've given you the scripture to back up their points. I have made some pastors very uncomfortable by asking them about parts of the Bible that aren't so politically correct.

Not quite sure where your getting the information from but the Bible states men should have short hair and women should have long hair, as nature intended. Leviticus 21:5 states that they shouldn't shave themselves bald (although natural baldness is fine Leviticus 13:40) bu Also the mutilating bodies, I assume you're discussing Leviticus 21:5 which discusses cuttings and tattoos. Not sure what that has to do with homosexuality.

It's the Buddhists who are strongly against "mind alternating substances" (well not the hippie Buddhists) I can't think of any Bible quote that says that you shouldn't drink wine. Exactly how does making up things prove our supposed ignorance? And what Bible are you reading? I ask because mine, the King James Version, 1611, has been studied extensively. This study is a couple years old now, but the information is timeless: New Study Proves Bible Is Not "All About Love." Please look through that and then help me understand what you understand God to have gotten wrong in His Holy Bible.
