Court Strikes Down Ban on Gay Marriage in California

LOS ANGELES – A federal appeals court panel ruled on Tuesday that a voter-approved ban on same-sex marriage in California violated the Constitution, all but ensuring that the case will proceed to the United States Supreme Court.

“Although the Constitution permits communities to enact most laws they believe to be desirable, it requires that there be at least a legitimate reason for the passage of a law that treats different people differently,” Judge Stephen Reinhardt wrote in the decision. “There was no such reason that Proposition 8 could have been enacted.”

Isn't God's will a legitimate enough reason? The next time an earthquake hits Sin Francrisco or Lotus-Land, we'll know why.

I have taken to my bed, I am so upset by this. Now every Tom and Harry will think he can marry Dick, with Open Arms.

We need a movement to cut ALL wages of the Homogays and Lesbians. If they have no money, no one will want to marry them...as all the Homogays have big bills for their crack cocaine, whips and chains, and treatment for the Aids.

"Marriage" is all about stealing "advantages" for them, so if we take away the "benefits", they'll look elsewhere (maybe in other countries?) for their unholy sugar daddies/mamas.

When I think about the fact that some of the disgusting sodomites with whom I used to willingly fornicate now have the right to insult God by legally sanctifying their unholy couplings, I am filled with a deep and profound sense of both shame and rage.

I think we should do a mission to California. Along with Iceland, California may be one of the last places on Earth where the gospel has yet to be preached. That is why Jesus hasn't returned yet.

Of course, only those with the most formidably well plated Christian armor (particularly in the buttock area) should undertake such an expedition.

California at Risk of Running Out of Money by March

California needs to come up with more than $3 billion to avoid burning through its cash by March, according to the state controller, who urged borrowing and delaying some payments.

"Assuming no additional revenue loss, erosion of borrowable internal funds, or significant spikes in spending, $3.3 billion of cash solutions are needed to address California's liquidity needs during this period," State Controller John Chiang said in a letter to the chairman and vice chairman of the Joint Legislative Budget Committee released on Tuesday.

Ah, sweet Sister Cookie, I do not want to be the one that furthers dampens your already soggy spirits, but interracial marriage was decriminalized in most of our once proud nation some time ago. Only small enclaves of reason such as Freehold still cling valiantly to laws of God as laid down by Him in the King James Bible.

What I fear will happen next is that this will open the floodgates for other unclean unions. In no time, we can expect human animal marriages, plural animal marriages, marriages between humans and inanimate objects such as toasters, avocados, or lumps of coal. The list is endless! If a man can marry another man, whey can he not marry a goat, a tire iron, a six pack of Shasta Diet Chocolate Soda, three used band aids and a hive of bees!
