Maybe you don't notice how addicted you are. There was again over dozen s-words in your post.
As you have been many times told, this is family friendly forum. You are most welcome to write here about your favorite bible verses, your faith, what kind of church you visit, your everyday life as child of God. Or you can go to another forum (Praying requests) if you want us to pray with you, if you are longing for feeling of being whole with the love of God.

Basil...sex obsessed? I haven't tickled a ladies pancreas in years. I did highlight that asexuality is not the omission of sex and used my own personal life to highlight that.

A thing about Aven...it is the largest asexual site. As such, like religion and many main group fora, it always has the main drive, accompanied by sub groups and then sub groups of those sub groups. Man sometimes they even confuse me so I would take the definition on the front page and the forum headers as 101 and everything else is open to personal interpretation.

We have a lot of young members who are on the discovery path and as such they are exercising open communication without restricted minds...most of which as a die hard black or white, I struggle with to be honest but as with any youth (I am sure we were the same) olders always find youngers hard to understand. Some will be asexual, some will feel they are asexual at this momment and some will not be but all are welcome. We never say if they are or are not as the person will need to find their own discovery on their own journey

Beyond that everything else is just as applicable to a sexual as it is an asexual, we love, we try to do the best we can, we have jobs, go to college, have relatives, partners, have cars, bicycles, buy crappy coffee at starbucks, being straight, being gay, being bi, hanging the washing out, using the internet, some are religious and some are not, some have sex and some do not, some have relationships and some do not etc.

Beyond that I am open to questions, observations or you could just go and look at any asexual site, they will be repsectuful to respectfull people

Being respectful to your community I did an Intro first in the right place and started to outline some of the missinformation about asexuals and asexuality.

Quite rightly at some stage and not wanting to turn the intro into a debate thread, I have now joined you on this thread.

Whilst some kind soul has tampered with my profile and I now have Scottish poof as a header I am indeed English , straight and Asexual.

I hope over some of the forthcoming days to offer a clearer picture of what an asexual is.

Actually, I know for a fact that homosexuality cannot be a choice. There are people that would prefer to be anything BUT homosexual. They hate themselves for being gay. They think they're going to hell and they try so hard to be what they are taught God wants them to be. But they can't, because they cannot force the way God created them to go away. No matter how hard they try. And with that, the same things go for asexuals like me. We cannot force ourselves to like the idea of sex any more than you can just LOVE the idea of sleeping with someone of the same gender. I pray and I know God. I've actually try to force SOME feeling of sexual attraction, and all I get is a feeling that God is telling me I am not MEANT to be heterosexual. Or homosexual. I feel no sexual attraction, however I DO feel deep, emotional romantic love toward a certain person, so I KNOW that sex isn't necessary, or required by God. He would let me feel attraction of that nature If he wanted me to, and I would follow His orders because I already do now. And I'm not ugly, by the way. That's not why I'm asexual. It's not because I can't 'get laid.' I'm too young for sex anyway, but I know other girls my age feel physical attraction, where as I don't. So I am asexual because God made me this way; it is his will, not mine. If he wanted me to lust, he would've made me that way, and I would've responded appropriately. But he created an asexual fourteen years ago, and I was born hat way, so I do not force myself to do what others would expect, but what He wants.

There are also people who feel deep inside themselves they should lay with children. There are people who hear voices in their head telling them to kill random people. The fact that you get guidance to life from what you feel instead of what God actually tells you to do in the Bible proves that the feelings you have and the voices you hear in your head are Satan trying to lure you into Hell. And he is succeeding.

If Jesus agreed with you, your feelings and ideas about God wouldn't be diametrically opposed to what He expresses in His Word.

Don't be silly. We don't care what you do or don't do with your little manhood. The LORD, however, cares deeply. And because we care about you, we want you to avoid an eternity of Hell. If you love your little Johnson and want to play with it or tuck it away and forget about it forever, that's no sweat off our backs, dear. We're just extending to you the message that God Loves You, He loves you enough to have sacrificed His Own Son to die temporarilty in order to pay your debt of sin, a debt you can never pay yourself. The least you could do is thank Him, don't you think? But instead of thanking Him, you whine and fuss about who should decide how your talliwacker is happiest. Who cares? You have that with you for 60, maybe 70 years, then for all eternity you can either rue these choices you're making today, or you can join us in Heaven praising the Good Name of Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God!
