Well it's not in the Holy Bible nancy. We follow what the Bible says.

When really bad things happen (like you get eaten by wild beasts, get killed in war, get sick and die, etc.), then you'll know that it was God that did it to you.

Yes and there's a reason for that. It's the same reason the Bible doesn't mention the internet, automobiles, space travel or organ transplants: none of those things existed when the Bible was written! AIDS didn't exist then, either. AIDS is a disease that has been around for less than a hundred years so it makes sense that a book written nearly 2000 years ago doesn't mention it.

Erm...I saw this thread on Aids by accident, just randomly browsing on the topic for a project, and if you people seriously believe that Aids can be caught by sitting on a seat where someone with the condition has, or being looked at, you have major major problems.

For a start AIDS non transmitable and cannot be caught, it is state that is caused by failure of the immune system, and although HIV is normally the cause for (there are some exceptions) immune system failure it is not the AIDS. HIV is a virus which despite being virtually impossible to remove once a person is infected is actually quite fragile outside the body.

Now for some actual facts about HIVs transmission:

firstly HIV cannot last outside of the human body for more than a few minutes it is very sensitive to temperature and environment and dies all but instantly when out of the body, so it is impossible for you catch by touching something a person with it has, also HIV is only found in blood and reproductive fluids as it it is dependant on t4 white blood cells to multiply/survive, It is not found in spit or sweat so kissing someone with HIV will not infect you.
HIV is not airbourne you can't catch it the way you could a cold or flu as it is only found in blood, lymph and reproductive fluids, also even if it was airbourne it is far too fragile outside the body to survive and would be harmless.
If you get the blood of someone with HIV on you it will not infect the skin is a good barrier and as the blood cools it will die, the only way you could get HIV this waye blood is if the blood landed on an open cut/wound and even the actual chances of catching it are unlikely.
You can't catch it from blood sucking insects/creatures either, with insects they have no thermoregulation and are too cold to allow it to live and also lack the correct cells as they techinically don't have blood, the next part about this is the virus will die in the stomach acid of anything that swallows HIV positive blood including humans.
I don't know why you'd do this, but drinking the blood of a person with HIV will not give you HIV unless you have open cuts/ulcerations in your mouth, throat or gullet and being mad eof protein it will be digested and killed.
And finally when it comes to sex which is the most common way of transmission there is still only about a 30% chance of transmission for a women in normal sex slightly lower for men, and it is only when anal sex happens that transmission is high and only for the reciever, but the risk is there with all types of sex so use a condom simple.

And finally having HIV does not guarantee that you will develop AIDS, some people have the virus and don't even kn ow for their whole loves as it has no effect on them, and it is possible to supress the virus with drugs as well making it possible for HIV positive people to live a relatively normal live with medication.

The problem here, my friend, is that we are approaching this affliction from two completely different standpoints. You are starting from the secular standpoint, that AIDS is as harmless as the common cold and that it isn't anything to be frowned upon. That's where you're wrong. From my (and God's) standpoint, AIDS is a curse from God on those who choose to ignore his "one man, one woman" definition of marriage. Therefore, anyone who legitimizes this position is subject to the same punishment, because, as the Lord says, "you are either for Me or against Me." There are no two ways about it. If you choose to enter into the same atmosphere that the gays use, like public bathrooms, then you run the very real risk of catching the AIDS (and, even more scary, the gay). As for looks: if you are the recipient of bawdy glances from these homos, then you are causing them to lust in their hearts, which is only one half-step away from bending over and exposing your caboose in front of their hot, erect man-sausage.

It's hard to pick through your words to find the little granules of Truth, but I will give it a shot. Indeed the HIV is God's warning to the gays that they are about to get smoten down. That's a fact. But you're right: AIDS/HIV is caused by a major failure: a failure of the person to accept God's Will for him. And I am glad that you are willing to admit that people infected by the AIDS are "fragile" people, which I am going to assume is your euphemism for "fags".

It's prevalent among the male gay community becuase of how a lot behave sexually, to put it in a really delightful way; the mucus membranes and therefore the natural lubrication of the anus are much thinner than those of the vagina it it leads to ulcerations and bleeding and when mixed with HIV + semen it gets in the blood that way.

To me I'll say AIDS is partially a lifestyle related disease because the two main ways to get AIDS are unprotected sex and IV drug use. If you don't do either of those you're probably safe. I don't do either. Like I said I'm still a virgin but when I do have sex I plan on being safe and I plan on being in a committed relationship (married if possible).
